  Our 5-day Tanzania safari was an unforgettable experience from beginning to end. The itinerary was perfectly organized, giving us wonderful opportunities to explore Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. We were amazed by the incredible wildlife, beautiful landscapes, and peaceful moments surrounded by nature. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure we had the best possible experience during every game drive. The accommodation was comfortable, and the meals were fresh and delicious. Everything was handled professionally, so we could simply relax and enjoy the adventure. This safari exceeded our expectations, and we would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Tanzania.Show more

  Lifetime experienced Being 2 girls who have travelled and seen quite some things around the world already, this was our very first time in Africa. After reaching out to some safari tour companies, we decided to choose Unique Jungle Tours as our safari sales consultant Ally was just really helpful and obliging in order to make sure that we will draft a tour that is perfectly adapted to our preferences and budget. Having all these settled up, we were lucky enough to be assigned to our tour guide James, who welcomed us such as friends who have known each other forever already. Driving us around in a comfortable vehicle with pop up roof that included all the facilities during safari, providing us hot lunches out of his magic box every day, and teaching us Swahili in the most efficient way, James went above and beyond to deliver us an experience for lifetime. He didn’t got in line like other tour guides but went the extra mile to give us the best possible view. That way we ended up seeing animals just an arm’s length away, having a cheetah on our car roof, and catching up with the Lion King’s cast in real life. I definitely recommend to book a tour with Unique Jungle Tours instead of doing it on yourself, just because an experienced guide has this so called gut feeling that you can’t learn from any guidebook. James knew exactly where to take us or where to wait with his car so that we could see the animals that we always have dreamed of. All we had to do was having trust and being prepared to take pictures. So, long story short: Thank you Unique Jungle Tours for the chance of a lifetime experience!   Unique Jungle tours - Really great safari company! We have just returned from a fantastic ten-day safari in Tanzania and three-day gorilla safari in Uganda all organised by Unique Jungle tours (and their sister Uganda company). We could not have been more pleased with everything - from the first contact email to the very last day of departure. We began our planning about a year ago and initially went with a non-local company. However we then decided we wanted to travel with a locally owned safari company. Unique Jungle tours comes up well on its reviews and so I corresponded with Rama where, after many back-and-forth emails we jointly constructed a fantastic itinerary. Rama is one of the sales managers and I very much enjoyed planning our safari with her. She was prompt in her correspondence, gave us a range of options for accommodation and was very accommodating of our own suggestions. She was also very good on providing advice such as the number of nights we should stay put in one place. Distances in Tanzania are very very long and the roads in the parks are rough and one really needs to rely on the expert advice on how to plan the itinerary. During our safari she contacted me on several occasions to make sure that everything was going alright. Our guide was Enock John and he was fabulous. He has a depth of experience, a wealth of knowledge about the ecology and the animals and much patience with us, his clients who often asked silly questions. I am sure that all the guides are excellent but we feel particularly fortunate to have had Enock. Between Rama and Enock everything was taken care of. This meant that my husband and I could really enjoy the safari without any worries about forward planning. Rama organised our three day gorilla tour in Uganda with their sister company (Primate Expeditions). Again everything ran smoothly from getting gorilla permits, the local flights, hotel transfers etc. This is an excellent company with very high-quality staff and extremely reasonable rates. It is also a locally owned Tanzanian company which we think is important. We can recommend Unique Jungle tours without any reservations! The safari industry is a very complex market and you can have full confidence of a great safari if you go with Unique Jungle tours.Show more
