    Asked on December 18th, 2025

Would it be possible to get an extra day in Serengeti NP in stead of Lake Manyara, coffee plantation or hot springs. So it still be 9 days. I would also be okay if you have to reduce the tour with one night to compensate for the extra day in Serengeti NP. Finally- I would like to start out with Tarangeri Np as the first park on the tour if possible

If I sign up for the 26th, do I leave states on 25 or 24th? Is there a specific time the tour starts; and when does it end to book for return flight?

    • Zara Tours (Zara Tanzania Adventures)OperatorWritten December 2025

If your tour starts on the 26th you will usually need to leave the U.S on the 25th because of the time difference and the long travel time. Most flights from the U.S to Tanzania arrive the next day. The tour officially starts on the morning of the 26th but we always recommend arriving one day earlier if possible to rest and adjust. Your tour will end on the afternoon of Day 7, so you can book your return flight on the same day in the evening.

Our 5-day safari do not require a lot of walking. Safari days are done almost entirely from the comfort of the vehicle, and you only walk short distances at viewpoints or picnic areas. But 2day trips Materuni water falls and Chemka hotspring require walking distance. So if possible you can do only 5days safari

At the moment, we do not organize tours to Victoria Falls as the falls are located in Zambia/Zimbabwe outside Tanzania. Our packages focus on Tanzania's national parks lodges and cultural experiences. However, you are very welcome to join our Tanzania tour, and we can assist with general advice on how to travel onwards to Victoria Falls after your safari.

Im a bit confused with your departure days being every day of the year. Seems like every company Ive used to go on a group package tour has maybe 1 tour every couple months and when the min number of ppl sign up its a def departure. But you start a new tour 365 days a year so im guessing you have lots of tours that only have 1 participant?
