We traveled with guide Shaban to all these remarkable and awe-inspiring locations, which were rich in diverse animals and landscapes. Some of the highlights of the safari included an intimate encounter with a massive herd of elephants in Tarangire, mating lions in Serengeti, and a cheetah climbing on top of our jeep. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend Zara Tours.

We witnessed the Great Migration in northern Serengeti as the animals made the precarious river crossing, which is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I must express my gratitude to Patrick for his meticulous organization of the trip, which featured a well-structured schedule. Our guide Shaban was exceptional and very attentive. We experienced incredible wildlife sightings and breathtaking landscapes across Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. We shared many special moments, getting close to elephants, lions, cheetahs, rhinos, vultures, baboons, jackals, hyenas, giraffes, antelopes, and zebras. Truly, it was the most romantic and adventurous journey we have undertaken together as a couple.

The package included full board at all the wonderful lodges and camps, and the only expenses we had were for the cocktails and drinks at the poolside bar at the Highview Hotel and Serengeti Safari Lodge. The food was plentiful and delicious, including the packed picnic lunches we took with us on the game drives. Our driver Shaban was excellent; he was attentive to everyone's needs, and it helped that the other couples also spoke English, making it easy to share the truck. In the end, we all got along well and became great traveling companions. During these 7 days, we saw numerous animals, wonderful sights, and even visited a Maasai village. Shaban was so good that we didn't want the experience to end. I highly recommend Zara Tanzania Adventures.

Shaban is an expert guide, highly experienced in navigating the parks, and he knew exactly where to take us to see the best wildlife and sights. We enjoyed staying in the luxury resorts that were arranged for us. In short, it was a fantastic experience that was worth every penny we spent. A wonderful journey in Tanzania.

I have no hesitations in recommending Zara Tanzania Adventure to everyone visiting Tanzania for a safari. We were paired with an incredible guide, Shaban, who charmed us with his vast knowledge of nature, intelligence, and wit. Every day in the parks brought us unforgettable wildlife encounters. We saw all the Big Five plus a multitude of many other animals. It was a fun trip that took us through a mix of habitats, including the Ngorongoro highlands, which get quite chilly in the evenings, so make sure to include warm clothes. We are absolutely happy with everything about our trip. It was perfect.

We were also impressed by his careful and skilled driving, which kept my family safe on the roads where some crazy driving was happening. We had many wildlife sightings, including a rare sighting of mating lions, a troop of wild dogs, and a huge cobra slithering across the road. We were lucky enough to see the great migration on three separate occasions. We are also very happy with Shaban's extra care during lunch, where he would find a lovely spot and set up the table and chairs, then continue to serve us lunch. The stay in Tented Camps and Lodges completed the adventure, as their services are excellent while still preserving the feeling of adventure. Everyone deserves to experience a safari adventure with such a wonderful host at least once in their lifetime!

We chose the 9 day safari through Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the Serengeti which are the main iconic parks in the Northern circuit. I can happily report that each was unique in its own special way.
The most defining factor was having Shaban as our guide, he really enriched our overall experience as he knew all the best routes, and had all the info about the animals; their habits.... and the overall Serengeti Ngorongoro ecosystem which is the main focus.
The lodge experience was first class as the lodges were fantastic pit stops with great food and clean comfortable rooms.
Based on our experience, we recommend Zara Tours without any hesitation.

From the moment we began planning the trip with Zayina she was there to support us all through the planning phase. Shaban met us at the airport and stayed with us for the full duration of the trip. The game drives through the stunning parks filled with diverse animals, birds and vegetation was astounding. Each day took us to great viewing and we could not get enough of the sites.
The overnight stays at the lodges and camps was absolutely enjoyable and refreshing.

Shaban drover carefully and in the parks he navigated the off-road 4x4 with confidence that only comes with experience and knowledge from past safaris. He also caring and fun person to be around and he took our safety very seriously.
The lodgings, service and food exceeded our expectations as the quality of service was top notch.

He not only made the trip memorable with his educative commentary for everything that we saw and the numerous questions that we posed but he also made the trip fun and engaged us at every juncture. The number of animals that we saw was insane, this was the case in every park slowly building to the crescendo in Serengeti where we came to the great wildebeest migration. Nothing can describe the experience of being in the middle of thousands upon thousands of wildebeest draping the endless plains beyond the horizon. The food and the lodges were first class and I have nothing but praise for trip that exceeded all our expectations!

Every day our driver/guide would pick us from our lodge for a game drive through the pristine African bush where we would spend time from one wildlife scene to the next. The picnics in the middle of bush were special and totally unforgettable. Out guide Shaban made the trip remarkably phenomenal with his patience, insights and knowledge of the areas that we visited. He genuinely cared about giving us the most wonderful experience and did not spare any effort to deliver this.

We were delighted with the hotel and the tented camps we had booked into. They were wonderful places to relax with great rooms and excellent food.

He took us to all the places that had great wildlife views, some that are so spectacular that they are permanently printed in my mind. The feeling from up above in a hot air balloon was mesmerizing! We enjoyed the luxury lodges that been organized for us. Serengeti Safari Lodge is a true oasis in the middle of the jungle and I would give anything to go back there for a weekend. I highly recommend the trip and if you are lucky to get guide Shaban, you can be sure that your experience will be memorable.

What made the trip special and remarkable was the outstanding guiding by Shaban our guide. His constant effort to show us the best sights and keep us safe, comfortable and happy was clearly evident. The main highlight of the trip was witnessing the great wildebeest migration with our guide Shaban. His was considerate and attentive to our needs making sure we were comfortable in the vehicle and throughout the trip. I remember how he made sure that we understood what the local Maasai were saying, translating every word for us and them. His respect for the animals and and nature was so appealing. The evenings in the booked tented camps enhanced the overall experience as they are in the middle of the bush where we could hear the wild animals roaming outside. We had much fun and would love to do this again.

I have nothing but good things to say about Shaban, he is an excellent driver and an awesome guide. We were able to enjoy the adventurous game drives in the parks as he knew where to find the animals. Back in the lodges we were treated like royalty and really had a blast.

Shaban was knowledgeable about the animals, the parks and everything that we asked him about Tanzania. He also acted as our go between with the Maasai tribe at their village. His charming nature kept us happy and entertained. The lodges that we stayed in were all carefully selected for their service and they did not disappoint. We totally loved it!

He gave us lots of interesting information about the parks, wildlife and culture of the Tanzanian people. We were lucky to have him with us for we would have missed a lot of the animals which he saw first. The Tanzania Wild Camps properties that we stayed in were excellent. We particularly loved Serengeti Safari Lodge, Highview Hotel and Ikoma Wild Camp. They are all so nice places that made our experience more memorable.

We started with Lake Manyara where we saw one pride of lions, elephants, zebras, baboons and hippos from a distance. Serengeti was more exciting with more elephants, five lions, prides, hippos, zebras and wildebeest which were the most special encounter of the trip. We saw thousands upon thousands of wildebeest in Ndutu calving and it was like nothing that I have ever seen. Ngorongoro was a mazing too, seeing more lions, elephants, rhinos, flamingos and a rare sighting of a serval cat.
Tanzania is a beautiful land that everyone should visit at least once in their lives.

His service was excellent and we saw all types of animals like lions, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, eland, hyenas, cheetahs and monkeys.
We stayed at three super camps and lodges which had excellent service. I highly recommend Zara Tours.

We were delighted to be able to see many different species of beautiful wildlife. We were pleasantly surprised by the high standard of the lodges and camps we stayed in. It was excellent planned, so that accommodations spots were along the trip circuit, offering excellent services for the travelers.

Shaban is an expert guide who made sure that we were comfortable throughout the tour, and worked to ensure that we saw all the animals that were on our wish list.
The lodges were fine and had excellent customer service. It was lovely in the open African jungle with an expert guide.

Le service lors du safari était le meilleur que nous ayons connu depuis longtemps. Hamisi a été excellent dans la conception de notre voyage. Le véhicule 4x4 conduit par Shaban fonctionnait parfaitement et il nous a emmenés dans les parties les plus profondes des parcs.
Shaban était excellent pour trouver la faune. Fort de son expérience et de ses connaissances, il nous a montré différents animaux au fur et à mesure de notre progression. J'avais du mal à croire le grand nombre d'animaux sauvages que nous voyions.
Nous avions réservé au Springlands Hotel à Moshi, au Highview Coffee Lodge à Karatu, au Serengeti Wildebeest Camp et à Ikoma Wildcamp.
Ce fut une belle expérience et nous nous sommes bien plus amusés que prévu.

Zara Tours provided us with good working equipment that proved to be very important in keeping us dry and safe during the trek.
I cannot possibly say all the good things about our wonderful crew. Patient and experienced. They planned and executed our trek into doable sections with all the aspects thought out.
I will always remember this crew for getting us safely to the summit and back to Moshi.

I have to confess that this trip exceeded all of our expectations. The beautiful sceneries, bountiful wildlife and birds and a fantastic knowledgeable Shaban. We also had much fun staying in some of the most exquisite lodges in Tanzania where no effort was spared to give us a special time.

Our trip was awesome from the moment we met our Shaban our driver and guide in Dar es Salaam. The experience was amazing. We did a mix of activities, including the spectacular boat safari along Rufiji River, fishing, guided walk safari and the game drives.
Staying at the luxurious Rufiji River Camp was amazing. We were pampered in an oasis that had all the luxurious amenities one would expect.

To start with their cost very competitive in comparison to similar established companies of such repute. The reservation staff were quick to respond to our queries and provided excellent responses.
The whole trek went was seamless, from the initial pick-up at the airport, transfer to the hotel meeting the guides, adventure up/down Kilimanjaro to our departure flight. We spent eight unforgettable days on the mountain with expert crew under the leadership of Shabaan. It was not only physically challenging but required mental strength and determination propelled by our guides motivation when our tanks dipped. They ensured our health through actual health tests, food was excellent and the tents comfortable (warm, clean & dry).

Our guide (Shabaan) was very experienced and he knew all the best places we could view wildlife from in the 4 parks that we visited. He drove the 4x4 Jeep well through the parks showing us different animals. We were lucky to see lions, zebras, monkeys, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, warthogs and even 2 black rhinos in Ngorongoro Crater.
Accoms were all in Zara properties which are excellent ( great rooms, wonderful meals and professional staff)
We had an awesome time in Tanzania and would love to return to tour a different part of the country and we will definitely be going with Zara.

Kilimanjaro with me so I went with my friend Jan. I did not know what to expect. We booked the 6 day Machame route with Zara Tours, a company that was recommended to me by my Dad.
Our guide, Shaban picked us up at the airport and gave us extensive information on the climb that would start the next day. We met the rest of the team which included six porters and one chef. We had a lot of luggage for 10 people and the equipment looked very heavy but the porters managed to carry all of it up and down the mountain with a lot of ease. The crew was helpful and professional. They treated me very nicely and politely. The porters and chef would rush ahead of us to prepare our camp such that when we arrived, the chef would have cups of tea ready. Shaban was a great guide with a lot of experience. Summit day was hard but we made it to the peak with a lot of help from Shaban.

The company takes care of all your needs from the beginning. I did not know much about mountain climbing and they provided me with all the information I could possibly need. I was part of a team of five other climbers supported by a crew of three guides (Shaban, Juma and Frank) nineteen porters and one chef (Walter). We used the 7 day Rongai route, which the company recommended for inexperienced climbers. Crew was very friendly and professional. Chief guide Shaban was a great, organized leader. He worked closely with the other guides to ensure that we were comfortable, fit, and climbing at a pace we could handle. The food that the chef Walter prepared was amazing. The whole crew worked hard to make the climb successful. Overall I am very impressed by the support I got from Zara tours in the whole trek and given another chance I would still opt for Zara because they give more than 100% and deliver more than their promise.

Our guide, Shaban, was very experienced and well-versed in the three parks we visited - Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. He knew the routes expertly and drove the 4x4 skillfully along the park trails, leading us to many close encounters with wildlife. At one point, we literally had a cheetah right on top of our car, which then calmly walked off and disappeared behind the tall grass in the Serengeti. We were very impressed by Shaban's knowledge of the animals, including the birds and plants we observed. We loved the choice of accommodations in and near the parks. Our selected favorites included the Serengeti Safari Lodge, Ngorongoro Wild Camp, and Highview Hotel. They were all impressive, featuring great food, amazing rooms, and excellent service.

We enjoyed first class hospitality at all the accommodations that we were booked in making the trip five star all through!

There were elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, hyenas and the huge wildebeest herds to see, not forgetting the numerous birds that we saw every day. Shaban was really excellent in the parks as he is very experienced and knowledgeable about everything that we asked or encountered. There were many exciting things that we could have missed were we on our own. The camps and lodges were pure luxury and made our overnights very special, eating and dining well and sleeping in comfort.
Overall it was a wonderful time and would love to return someday.

Zara Tours had organized an amazing trip to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. We saw many different animal species including some birds that we've never seen elsewhere. There were numerous lions, particularly in Northern Serengeti where thousands of wildebeest. We also saw many lions down the Ngorongoro Crater which were just sleeping in the middle of the road. We were lucky to be accompanied by guide Shaban for he is an amazingly excellent guide and nice person to be around. The only setback was tse tse flies on the Tarangire game drives.

Special thanks go the Shaban for being an amazing guide. He was everything that we needed during the nine days out in the African jungle. He took excellent care of us, ensured that we were comfortable and got the best time viewing different wildlife species. We are also very happy with lodges that we were booked in. Their service level was luxurious which was above what we expected having paid for mid-level comfort. We had an unforgettable time and we owe it all to Zara.

We were lucky to get on such a trip where the trip turned out to be splendid beyond our wildest imaginations. Shaban our guide was knowledgeable, experienced, witty, friendly and had a keen eye for spotting wildlife. He taught us so much about the animals, plants and the ecosystems that Tanzania is so keen on preserving. We also had a chance to interact with some local tribes who still derive their living from hunting small animals and gathering honey, roots and fruits from the forest around Lake Eyasi. My family could not have been happier! It was much more than we expected.

Våra toppfavoriter var Serengeti och Ngorongoro Crater som har fantastiska landskap och många djur. Vädret var fantastiskt och det var bara fantastiskt att köra in till den vilda afrikanska bushen.
Jag älskade logerna vi var bokade i, de hade utmärkt service. Hamisi från kontoret hade meddelat logerna våra kostrestriktioner.
