  Combining Safari and Kilimanjaro trekking proved to be incredible and surpassed all our expectations. The game drive through Shira Plateau was incredible. We saw lots of elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope, different monkey species, though we did not see any lions. The amazing crew under the leadership of guide Yesse made the trek very special. They were always there for us, ready to answer any of our questions and supported us in so many ways. We had excellent tents and comfortable mats that made us sleep well at night. Food was excellent and I have to commend James our cook for the delicious meals that he whipped up consistently. Zara Tanzania Adventure stands out because their passion and attention to detail.   We had a truly amazing experience on the Londorosi route. Zara Tours are absolutely amazing and are the only people who have the capacity to provide outstanding service as they are not only very experienced in supporting climbers, but also have a good stable with experienced crew and great equipment to ensure that the climbers are safe and comfortable. Yesse Lema was absolutely brilliant. He led his team and they supported every aspect of our trek. We not only learnt a lot about Kilimanjaro but also enjoyed the astounding views along the trail.   We just came back from doing Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and are happy to have gone with our friends Zara Tours. Booking with Zara was simple because they are always available, responding to our emails within 12 hours. We were booked at the Springlands hotel in Moshi where we met Jonathan the lead guide, he checked our gear and also helped us to get the other gear we needed from Zara offices. The trek to the summit was an incredible experience. The crew were great and helped us to get the summit. Their service is top class and they spared no effort for our welfare. I can definitely recommend them.Show more

We have never done anything as tough as this before, we could have not done it without the crew of professionals from Zara Tours. They took care of us in a wholesome way. They did not compromise on our comfort, safety and wellbeing. The quality of all the equipment was great and so was the food we had on the mountain.   We found Zara Tours on Tourradar and they are a very solid company with some of the best mountain guides in Tanzania. We did the trek with Senior guide Makuo, assisted by Kileo, seven porters and gastronomy engineer Martin. Martin served amazing food; three hot meals during breakfast, lunch and dinner. We went from camp to camp, up to the last camp when we did the summit climb that started at midnight. Mukuo planned the climb well because we were the second party to reach the summit a few minutes after day break. Thanks for the great experience.Show more

  Really a great route up the Kilimajaro. Only in the last segment (Stella Point) do you join up with more crowds from the other routes. We basically were just 4 groups on the route the whole way, very peaceful. While probably a bit longer as to KMs you do get to see all sides of the mountain and stay a night at the base of Mt Mawenzi -quite a beautiful spot. The summit day is tough as you go up to the summit then back to Kibo Hut and after a small rest you go down onto Horombo Hut. So basically from midnight all the way through 3 pm or so. World Adventure Tour was great - the whole team at the base in Moshi and the team that went up with us. Jackson our lead guide was very supportive and organized the whole team very well. The food went way beyond what we expected to be eating on a 'camping trip' the cook Philip was great ! Very thankful for all their support to help us get to the summit.Show more

  We booked our Kilimanjro trek on the Lemosho route through Zara Tours for a couple of reasons. To start with their cost very competitive in comparison to similar established companies of such repute. The reservation staff were quick to respond to our queries and provided excellent responses. The whole trek went was seamless, from the initial pick-up at the airport, transfer to the hotel meeting the guides, adventure up/down Kilimanjaro to our departure flight. We spent eight unforgettable days on the mountain with expert crew under the leadership of Shabaan. It was not only physically challenging but required mental strength and determination propelled by our guides motivation when our tanks dipped. They ensured our health through actual health tests, food was excellent and the tents comfortable (warm, clean & dry). I highly recommend Zara Tours for Kilimanjaro.Show more
