The parks, particularly Serengeti, were stunningly beautiful, and we were fortunate to be accompanied by guide Tarimo. We saw all of the big 5 and many more animals in their natural habitat. We also visited the Hazabe at Lake Eyasi and gained insight into their hunter-gatherer culture which has remained unchanged for thousands of years. Being our first time in Tanzania, we were very impressed with the tour—from the warm, friendly people to the best-preserved parks. We are definitely looking forward to our next trip with Zara Tours.

We had guide Tarimo with us, and he did an excellent job. Every morning during the briefing, he would go over the day's schedule and then check if we wanted to make any changes. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had a satisfying experience. We saw numerous wildlife species in their natural habitats, and his captivating and informative commentary made the overall experience unforgettable. We are very pleased with everything about our trip.

Zara handled all the logistics, accommodations meals, and anything else in Tanzania. The pricing for this experience was reasonable, and it certainly felt more luxurious than we anticipated. We went on the Northern Tanzania safari and we truly had an incredible time. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of wildlife filled landscapes and terrains we encountered and many different bird species. Our guide, Tarimo, was outstanding. He was so knowledgeable, accommodating, and just an all-around great person.
I would love to do this again sometime soon.

It was our first time in Africa, and our trip expectations were very high. We are happy to report that everything occurred as indicated in the itinerary and was organized in an impeccable way. We are happy to report that everything occurred as indicated in the itinerary and was organized in an impeccable way. The lodges and tented camps turned out to be lovely places where we enjoyed our evenings, in wonderful locations, had delicious meals, relaxed in comfortable rooms, and enjoyed hearty breakfasts between the epic safari drives with our guide Tarimo. We owe the incredible experiences to him, as he knew the parks very well and all the places where we wouldn't miss the animals. We saw many different animals, including some elusive encounters with a leopard and wild dogs. In the end, we can only say that everything surpassed all our expectations.

His vast knowledge of the parks and expertise in tracking wild game greatly enhanced our experience. We saw lots of wild animals including lions, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, warthogs, flamingos, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, monkeys and many stunning landscapes. We are totally happy with Zara Tours for catering to all our needs and giving us a perfect experience.

From the moment we were picked up to the time we were dropped off at the airport, Tarimo ensured we felt comfortable. He was fluent in English, a superb driver, and had extensive knowledge about the wildlife, culture, landscapes, and flora. Each day of our game drives took us to new areas where we encountered stunning wildlife sights and sounds.
The accommodations were cozy, the staff was wonderful, and the food was exceptional! I highly recommend Zara Tours for an amazing safari adventure. I heard that they also do Kilimanjaro and which we will be doing soon.

We chose to go with Zara after conducting extensive research and communicating with various providers. My communication with Zayina, our trip designer, was seamless. She helped craft an itinerary that was within our budget. She was forthright about the weather, tipping guidelines, and so much other information that was pertinent to our travel. The actual experience with guide Tarimo was flawless and filled with amazing wildlife encounters. The lodgings were really good and had everything we desired for our trip. It was the best vacation traveling as a family.

We also went to a Maasai village in Sanya juu which was so cool, the lodges were so nice and had great service.

The Serengeti Safari Lodge in Serengeti is beautiful, and close to the wildebeest migration corridor so we could see the wildebeest migration right from the balcony of our room. Joseph was an incredible guide and we were able to see so much wildlife and beautiful landscapes with little hassle. His knowledge of the parks was impressive and he made the trip enjoyable with his easy going nature. The staffs were helpful as my mum needed help to move her wheel chair around, and they helped us with a smile at all the properties. Thank you for planning a perfect trip.

Zayina our Trip Designer was amazing in planning our itinerary. During the actual trip the transportation, lodgings and food were fabulous. Above all our guide Tarimo who also is the reason we had such an incredible time. He’s passionate about conservation, charming and very knowledgeable about the parks and the animals. He really went out his way to make sure that we had a fabulous time on the trip.

The tour was seamless with a balanced mix of game drives, cultural visits, walks, a hot air balloon ride and some free time to relax in the wonderful lodges. We still have fond memories of the tour with guide Tarimo two weeks later. We visited Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro and had an incredible time. The trip was full of great wildlife encounters. I remember the thousands of wildebeest in the Serengeti, the many elephants in Tarantire and the impressive variety of animals in the Ngorongoro Crater.
The vehicle was excellent and spacious, the lodges were perfect and everything ran smoothly.

We have just come back from a flawless safari with them. Tarimo our Chief Experience Officer was knowledgeable, kind and genuine in his interest to give us an adventurous and enjoyable trip. We were driven in a new Landcruiser that was spacious, comfortable and very sturdy. It has many nice touches like the recharging ports, a mini fridge, AC, wide-view windows but most important was that Tarimo drove well.
We visited 4 parks and they were all nice, however Serengeti stole our hearts with its beauty, diversity and spectacle. The Great Wildebeest Migration is an amazing view that mesmerized us with awe, it has so many animals attached to it for sustenance like the 4 lion prides that we encountered, cheetahs, vultures, jackals, hyenas. We were also moved by the huge elephant herds that we saw in Tarangire, this was really exciting. We stayed in the lodges operated by a sister company where we qualified for huge discounts for booking exclusively with Zara Tanzania Adventures.

We were able to sample some of the best views where diverse wildlife species would feature. Joseph is well informed and congenial guide who made our trip very interesting and enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed the choice of lodges which were all amazing. The Spectacular views of the Rift Valley from our room in Ngorongoro Wild Camp are still vivid in our minds. This tour lived up to its reputation and we were lucky to be with Joseph because he was outstanding.

We got to the wildebeest migration in Serengeti and this is such an incredible sight that everyone should experience at least once in their lives. There no words that can describe this experience. We had so much visiting a tribe of authentic bushmen. I highly appreciate the efforts by our hosts in giving us such an awesome experience.

The safari ended up being a trip that we will remember for a lifetime for the huge number of diverse wildlife species that we saw. In addition to the animals we also went to a Maasai village in Sanya where we enjoyed immersing into the Maasai culture for a day. Everything was well organized just as we wanted. We stayed in tented camps in the bush and hotels in the towns. It was a great vacation and we owe it all to the excellent preparations and execution from the able Zara Tanzania Adventures staff.

The arrangements were perfect and the ultimate trip to Serengeti where we witnessed the wildebeest calving is the best thing we have ever seen. The hot air balloon, the visit to the Maasai and the coffee tour were nice additions that made the tour sweet and memorable. A huge vote of the thanks to our guide Tarimo who was outstanding in his driving and finding the animals. I would not change anything about this tour.

The number of animals that we saw on the trip are just insane, I have never seen such huge herds in my life like the wildebeest herds we saw in Serengeti. Tarimo also took to the Hadzabe tribe which was very interesting. I am really happy with the choice of the lodges and luxury camps because they were truly unforgettable, like the Ngorongoro Wild Camp which is perched high up on Ngorongoro highlands overlooking the Lake Eyasi where the Hadzabe reside. We are in love with Tanzania and owe it all to the superb tour from Zara Tanzania Adventures.

We then headed to Ndutu plains in Serengeti where we spent time following the thousands of wildebeest and zebras.There were lots of lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals and vultures towing along the huge migration herds. Overnights in Serengeti Wildbeest Camp and Serengeti Safari Lodge were amazing. We finished off with Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Eyasi and they were all spectacular. Thank you Zara for such an EPIC experience.

She fabricate the itinerary to include all the activities that we wanted starting with the hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti and a Maasai Boma visit in Ngorongoro. We had a phenomenal time viewing wildlife and landscapes with Guide Joseph Tarimo. He freely shared his insights and vast knowledge of the parks wildlife, vegetation and cultures of the tribes that we visited. There was a lot of wildlife in the parks. We came across huge elephant herds, lions, zebras, cheetahs and thousands of wildebeests. We totally loved it!

The variety of experiences was amazing, one morning we were in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti, the next day we were with the Hadzabe Bushmen..... There was so much to see and experience.

We saw so many different animals ranging from huge elephants, to tiny dik diks, he managed to show us all the animals we were had hoped to see.
The service is first class. Tarimo took care of every one of us and ensured that we were safe and comfortable at all times.
The game drives exceede all our wildest dreams. Then we would retire in excellent lodges that had top class service.

So this trip was like coming back home, I was happy to see Mama Zara has kept the personal touch and excellent service.
We had an incredible time. My wife cannot stop talking about the excellent game drives where we encountered numerous wildlife, enjoyed amazing sceneries and then retired to exclusive lodges. It was magical and its a must do trip

I was struck by the huge elephant herds in Tarangire, with some very huge matriachs in some herds.
It's hard to choose between Ngorongoro and Serengeti, guess because Ngorongoro has so much diversity in small space while the beauty Serengeti's plains is just alluring. Each park was special and we got the best sights and sounds because we had the best guide - Tarimo.
I would give anything to return soon to Tanzania. I have been twisted by the beauty and tranquility of the land

We did the Kilimanjaro part of our trip with guides Francis and Musa. They were fantastic and caring that we had much fun despite the tough course and cold mountain conditions. We were in good hands, well taken care of and had the best equipment from what I saw with the other climbing parties.
After Kilimanjaro we took a flight to Zanzibar which was ideal for relaxation and sunshine. It was a great fusion of culture, history and relaxation.

The guide comes from the area itself and gave us interesting facts about the way of life, culture and natural habitat at the foot of Kilimanjaro.
The plantation, hike and waterfalls were just simply stunning. A relaxing day trip I can highly recommend.

The vehicle was comfortable and fitted with a well stocked fridge, binoculars and nice books on Tanzania wildlife. Seeing so many animals was a dream come true for me and my husband then going to luxurious accommodations all throughout.

The spectacular adventurous game drives, staying in in luxurious lodges all done within five days was totally amazing. We started off with a tour of Lake Manyara National Park, quite small but has interesting game encounters. This was followed by two days in Serengeti - which is a park like no other. So beautiful, vast and wide variety of all the animals that one would expect in savannah grasslands. Ngorongoro Crater was the last stop and its truly wonderous. It was nice to experience all this beauty with Chris our guide, who knew everything about the parks, people and anything Tanzania. I cannot possibly pen everything here...... If you are interested in Tanzania, contact Anna the director. She organized everything for us and it turned out perfectly.

Really a great route up the Kilimajaro. Only in the last segment (Stella Point) do you join up with more crowds from the other routes. We basically were just 4 groups on the route the whole way, very …Really a great route up the Kilimajaro. Only in the last segment (Stella Point) do you join up with more crowds from the other routes. We basically were just 4 groups on the route the whole way, very peaceful. While probably a bit longer as to KMs you do get to see all sides of the mountain and stay a night at the base of Mt Mawenzi -quite a beautiful spot. The summit day is tough as you go up to the summit then back to Kibo Hut and after a small rest you go down onto Horombo Hut. So basically from midnight all the way through 3 pm or so.
World Adventure Tour was great - the whole team at the base in Moshi and the team that went up with us. Jackson our lead guide was very supportive and organized the whole team very well. The food went way beyond what we expected to be eating on a 'camping trip' the cook Philip was great ! Very thankful for all their support to help us get to the summit.

We had the spacious safari vehicle just for us and Tarimo pushed it to all the corners of the parks, we saw many different animals. I have so many photos from all the days in the bush.
Accoms were well thought out, conveniently located within/close to the parks. We loved Ngorongoro WildCamp the best for its magical location.
I will recomend Zara Tours to all my friends.

They have really specialized on Tanzania safaris; they have a tour company and operate a chain of great lodges inside Serengeti, Ngorongoro and some close to the parks and we had a pleasurable time staying in three of them during our safari.
Our guide Tarimo outdid himself, he is the real deal in terms of safari, many years’ experience, loves his job and an easy going guy. His wildlife tracking and spotting skills led us to lots of animals and he knew so much about them. We really like him a lot and we recommend him to other travelers.

His careful driving kept us going trough muddy tracks deep to Ndutu where an incredible spectacle was happening. We were in the middle of thousands of wildebeest calving! I recommend the the complete package of safari and accommodations because enjoyed the same high standard on our trip all through.

I booked a 5 day safari with Zara Tours to explore Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater. Joseph was the best guide and driver anyone could have asked for. He was highly skilled and had a lot of experience. He showed us all the animals we wanted to see and many more. He got us really close to the animals from where we could see the animals perfectly. Joseph was kind, polite, cheerful, and had a great sense of humor. We usually had lunch at designated picnic spots around the parks. We stayed at different Zara Properties. The camps and lodges were incredible places to stay in. The staff there was very friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home with them. They tended to our every need with a lot of patience and dedication.
Our safari was the experience of a lifetime thanks to Zara Tours.

Every good we read about you on the reviews has been proven true and our experience with Zara was beyond our wildest expectations. It was nothing but first class luxury from the moment we touched down at KIA and whisked to Springlands Hotel in Moshi where we were welcomed with cocktails and met Zara staff including Joseph our tour guide.
The four wheel drive landcruiser vehicle was comfortable and spacious, just right for safari. The number of animals that we saw during our 8 day safari is insane. Joseph drove us to nice spots in the parks where we took nice amazing shots and enjoyed nature at its best. Peter would describe every animal in detail and in the process we learnt a lot about. We were happy that Zara had prepared for every stage of our safari and residing in the various Zara properties that maintained the same high level of excellence. Of all the properties we loved the 3 days we were at the luxurious Serengeti Safari Lodge in the middle of Serengeti.
For a wonderful safari I recommend the Zara total experience of tour operator and properties because you experience wonderful service fit for a king.

Trying to charge me for using a debt card in the country where the central bank has band charges like this! wanting to be paid in dollars not Shillings, and giving me a bad exchange rate when I paid in shillings your countries currency... Joseph is really awesome as he is an expert driver and even more gifted as a guide for he knew where to find the animals, the nicest picnic spots in the parks. The tented camps and lodges were amazing with gorgeous tent rooms, serving delicious meals and excellent selection of wines. The staffs were professional, friendly and really eager to keep us happy. He was cheerful, resourceful and so knowledgeable about the animals, plants and Tanzania in general. Time spent with him seemed to fly, because he could not run out of spectacular sites to show us. The choice of lodges and tented camps for our accommodation was perfect. We were treated like royalty and spoilt silly. The wonderful staffs elevated the overall experience that we did not want the trip to end.

We explored all the major parks in the Northern circuit, seeing thousands of different animals. We also visited the Maasai tribe which was quite interesting.
Our highlights were a team of lionesses putting down a buffalo. That's totally unforgettable! We had taken the middle service level and were pleasantly treated to the luxury level with no interruptions. We really had an unforgettble holiday and highly recommend Zara Tanzania Adventures

He knew the parks well and the areas that were best for viewing, away from traffic. His knowledge of the wild animals, the trees and the habitats added a lot of insight about everything. We also visited the local Maasai people and found it to be a worthwhile cultural exchange. Some of the things that stood out were the trip to the floor of Ngorongoro. That place is awesome, the great expansive grasslands of Serengeti.

He was our go between the Hadzabe bushmen who are living akin to the way their ancestors did 50 thousand years ago. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy and satisfied as he looked out locations with the best sightings. We were all so happy with him and loved the way he handled our children.

The lodges were amazing and perfectly located along the tour circuit in very scenic sections. We particularly enjoyed central and northern Serengeti with the migration, lots of lions, hyenas, and other carnivores that followed the migration.

It was our first time in Tanzania for me and my wife and we have to accept that it was even better than we expected. Everything was planned and executed perfectly by the Zara team; from the challenging Kilimanjaro climb with exceptional crew under chief guide Yesse Lema who made sure we had a great time and made it to the top safely to Joseph Tarimo our guide in Serengeti who made sure we witnessed the migration including 3 river crossings. The quality of the hotel (Moshi Springland) and tented camp (Ngorongoro Wildcamp) used on tour was top notch. They had excellent staff, nice facilities all which left us very impressed. We must return soon for another wonderful experience.
