How much are the gorilla trek and Serengeti safari add ons?

For the 29th September Grand Adventurer departure, we still have available permits for all three primate treks which are: Gorillas - £750 per person, Chimps - £130 per person, Golden Monkeys - £155 per person. The Serengeti & Ngorongoro add-on is at £695 per person. The minumum age for our trips us 18 years.

How many hours will we be driving each day?

During the day, driving days normally start at about 8am and finish at about 5pm, with stops for lunch and buying food, seeing local sights etc. We won't be driving every day, although there are times when we will drive for two, but we will then stop for a few days and you will have free time to explore, meet local people, do some optional activities or just relax and do your own thing.

I am a 78 year old man and am as healthy as any man in his 60s and even some in their 50s. I really want to go on the 33 day safari from Nairobi to Dar Es Salam trip. I would be happy to indemnify your company from any mishap due to my age. Is there any way you would allow me to join this trip?

Our travellers usually range in ages from 18 to their mid to late 60's who have thoroughly enjoyed their chosen Oasis trip without experiencing any difficulties on either a physical or social level. We have had travellers on our trips in their 70's and early 80's, and they too have enjoyed their experiences, but we always try to make travellers aware of certain aspects of the trip. On our Overland & Ultimate expeditions participation is a major part of our trips structure – with a strong emphasis and expectation that all trip members will need to get involved with various tasks such as cooking and shopping for the group, putting up and taking down your own tent on a daily basis, and generally navigating your way around the truck and helping out with anything that arises on the trip.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 19th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 19th, 2026, a minimum payment of $450 is required to confirm your booking with Oasis Overland. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 75 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Oasis Overland will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
