The 14-day Serengeti, Masai Mara & Gorilla Trekking Experience with Rumara Safaris was an outstanding adventure in all respects. Our guides Emmanuel (Tanzania), Erick (Massai Mara Kenya), and Noah (Uganda) were excellent -- professional, knowledgeable, and very personable -- they made our trip a wonderful experience. We saw all of the "Big 5" close up, and so many other animals and amazing sights. The people and cultures were very warm and welcoming and security was never an issue. We chose mid-level accommodations, which more than met our expectations (a couple were definitely better than mid-level). Meals were included, and always delicious and plentiful. Ramara Safaris' price/value was the best we found and well under some equivalent offerings in terms of content, etc. Their pricing also included the $800 gorilla trekking permit. Overall, highly recommended!!

This was my first time in Africa & I was totally taken by this beautiful country, the breathtaking scenery & the so friendly, happy people. Every day was a different experience: beautiful Zanzibar beach, various tours, safari's, village, school & orphanage visits, seeing wild animals up close in their natural habitat was amazing, but the highlight has to be ' the mountain gorillas', this is an experience I will never forget. I will def' return to this wonderful country.

We had a 2 week tour in East Africa with this company. Aron helped us create the perfect itinerary for our needs. He was so patient with us and answered every question we asked in a timely manner. Compared with other tour companies we tried working with, he was the only one who said my daughter could go gorilla trekking in Uganda at 12 years old, and she did and loved every second of it! Everyone else said she had to be 15. His fees were also more reasonable than other tour companies by far, and he gave us the best hotels! Dan was an angel guide and driver. He has such a sweet soul. He is so patient and a very good driver, and tried so hard to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We miss them both so much! We highly recommend this company. They are such a good team and treated us like family!
