  As a middle-aged couple who aren't exactly fitness buffs, we never imagined we'd make it to the summit of Kilimanjaro, but thanks to Kilisa Tours and Safari, we did! From the very start, booking with Patrick was straightforward and stress free, and the entire trip was organized with incredible attention to detail. The weather was perfect throughout our journey, which made a huge difference. The terrain was definitely challenging for us, but the stunning views along the Rongai route kept us motivated and gave us the energy to keep going, even when the climb felt tough. We can’t say enough about our guides Jamal and Buka. They were patient, encouraging, and always looking out for our well-being. Their experience and constant support helped us keep moving at a comfortable pace, and they made sure we felt safe and confident every step of the way. A special thank you to Kimario, our cook, who prepared the most delicious meals that kept us fueled and ready for the next day’s adventure. We were pleasantly surprised by how well we were taken care of, from the excellent equipment to the seamless logistics. Reaching the summit in 7 days felt like an impossible dream come true. It was a hard climb, but with the support of this amazing crew, we made it to the top. If you're not in peak physical condition but still dream of summiting Kilimanjaro, we highly recommend Kilisa Tours. They made the impossible possible for us!Show more

  We had one of the best lifetime experiences with guides Lema and Juma from Zara Tanzania Adventures. Our guides were outstanding as they helped and cared for us throughout the entire trek. The landscapes and panoramic view from our Rongai made it incredible. The trek was tough but manageable, and all our guides made it fun while keeping us safe. I noticed that we had very good equipment and enjoyed great food throughout. We both reached the summit and would not have made it without the support of Lema and Juma. They became my good friends and will cherish their memories as long as I live. We had some of the best equipment, tents, a portable toilet and sufficient supplies for the whole climbibg party. We are truly grateful to all the members of our crew (guides, cook and porters) for excellent support. Their advice and tactics were instrumental to our success. The company provided us with nice comfortable tents, enough food, water, amenities, a mobile toilet, fully kitted first aid box, oxygen bottles and other items that were necessary.   Last month three friends and I climbed Kilimanjaro using the Rongai route. The whole trip was superbly organized and the quality of service turned out better than we expected. The route is of medium difficulty aside from the last night stage leading to the summit which is extremely difficult. I have absolute adoration for Zara Tours becase they gave us an amazing crew, excellent equipment and we had very nice meals at all times. I highly recommend Zara Tours for well planned and organized Kilimanjaro treks.Show more
