Is it possible to have a private tour at an earlier date? My wife and I will be in Morocco January 13th - February 15th and would be interested in a cycling tour in that time period if at all possible, understanding there will be colder weather with potential rain and snow.

We do not offer any private departures of our trips. We would be happy to look into availability of a different destination though if interested.

We have a maximum of 5 e-bikes available per trip departure date. The cost of the e-bike rental is approx. USD$200 subject to availability at time of booking.

We do not currently have anyone booked onto either of February dates, but we have eight people booked onto our 21st March departure, two people on our early April departure, and three people on our late April departure

Thats a pity, I don't see a big difference between a 15 or 16 year old teenager and of course there would be an adult with him.

This tour is for 16+ and anyone below 18 will need to have an adult with them therefore we cannot accept a 15 year old. We do offer family trips that he could travel on where the age range starts from 7+.

Would it be possible to arrange for a tour starting sometime between April 9 - 12?

Is it possible to bring my own saddle and pedals for the bicycle?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own saddle and pedals to use during the tour.

What should I do upon arrival at the destination airport?

Look for an Explore representative who will be wearing a company outfit and holding an Explore sign. They will guide you further.

How likely is it that all trips will happen? I was hoping to do this tour in September at the end of a 2 month trip. I'm trying to line up with either Sept 20 or 27. A lot of other bookings will rely on the timing of this trip and I don't want to risk the trip being cancelled if you don't manage to attract enough people.

Both our September 20th and 27th 2025 departures are guaranteed departures. We have 3 people booked for our September 20th departure and 6 people already booked for our September departure.

Do you supply bikes and can they have the option of battery operated?

On our cycling tours, we do supply bikes for all, we require your height when making a booking to make sure that we arrange the correct size bicycle for you. We also have a certain amount of e-bikes available per tour - these are always on a request basis but something we can check for you once an option is held in place. Also with our cycling tours, we require all passengers to bring their own helmets.

Is the bike an e-bike or electric bicycle or just regular bicycle?

Electric bikes (Cube reaction hybrid pro 625) are available for an additional approx cost CA$250 per person. Please note these are subject to availability on a first come first served basis, we have a maximum capacity of five e-bikes per departure.
