The team of five looking after our group of 16 was simply excellent. We felt safe travelling on the bus, our main guide Hicham leading the cycling part along with Omar ‘closing the march’ on cycling segments were really attentive and most pleasant. Accommodations were comfortable, no more. The cycling segments were most scenic except perhaps on those two days when cycling on a straight road through the desert. On the negative side, I would suggest that the time spent on the minibus was too long for all of us, there were way too many transfers and segments of 2 to 3+ hours long; also, the sites selected for our daily picnics were possibly the worst one could find (rocky, sandy grounds, nowhere to sit) they need to revisit this for sure. The cycling notes from Explore! Detailing the ascents and descents were wrong on several occasions according to many (this deserves some attention as well). That being said, Hicham and the team did their outmost to address our needs and introduce us to the people and culture of Morocco.
Cycle Morocco - Atlas to the SaharaOur guide, Abdul, was very good. He was organized, efficient, and friendly. He was never pushy or demanding and was patient with everyone. He shared his knowledge of Morocco and gave us many helpful travel tips. We were very satisfied with our tour and it exceeded our expectations.
Cycle MoroccoI recently joined the Hidden Gems Gravel Trip with MTB Morocco, and let me tell you—it was worth every penny! At first, the price seemed a bit steep, but once you hit the trails with this team, you’ll quickly understand the value. This isn’t your typical touristy tour. These guys are all about the real gravel biking experience. They don’t take you on detours to shops for commissions or try to upsell you at every corner. Instead, they focus entirely on creating an authentic, seamless adventure, showing you the true beauty of Morocco through trails you’d never find on your own. The routes were absolutely stunning—gravel paths winding through hidden valleys, remote villages, and jaw-dropping landscapes. The guides were professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about biking, which made every mile an incredible experience. The high-quality bikes and attention to detail made the trip not only smooth but unforgettable. What really stood out was how much I saved in terms of time and stress. With MTB Morocco, everything is planned perfectly, and their English-speaking team ensures you’re taken care of from start to finish. If you’re thinking of comparing this trip to something cheaper, don’t. You’re paying for expertise, authenticity, and an adventure that will stay with you forever. For any gravel enthusiast looking to explore Morocco’s hidden gems, this is the trip to book. I can’t recommend it enough!
