Which size is the group if we are 3?

Our tour groups accommodate up to 10 travellers in total. If you are travelling as a group of 3 adults, this is a perfect tour option for you, as you will join the scheduled departure together with other guests for a shared and enjoyable experience

Please is there any possibility of picking me up in Otjiwarongo?

Yes we can pick you up from Otjiwarongo without extra charges.

I am traveling on my own but I don't mind sharing with another member of the group. How much would I have to pay? For the tour that starts on 11th April for a twin shared room it is £806. Is this correct? I am guessing that would also include the entrance to Etosha park?

Yes, that is correct — for the tour starting on 11th April, the cost for one adult sharing a twin room is £806. As a solo traveller, you are welcome to share a room with another member of the group. This price includes all Etosha National Park entrance and conservation fees, as well as the activities outlined in the itinerary.

What accommodations will be provided? I plan to go solo.

Accommodation depends on availability at the time of your confirmation. We usually make use of: Etosha- Toshari Lodge/similar, Swakopmund- Hotel A la Mer/similar. If we are going to be taking you alone, you will be required to pay USD 1600.

Can we be picked up from Düsternbrook and dropped in Swakop after the tour?

Yes confirmed, you can be picked up from Düsternbrook and you will be required to pay extra NAD 1500 to allow us to pick you from there. And yes you can be dropped in Swakop after the tour.

Is there a choice of lodges? Is so which ones? Or the name of the only lodge you use?

We normally make use of Hotel A La Mer/ similar in Swakopmund and Okaukuejo/similar in Etosha NP.

We had a great time and Lucas was knowledgable and conscientious, accommodating us wherever possible. The few quibbles were minor, more or less expected and probably unavoidable. There was a great deal of driving to get to the locations and, because I just had a total knee replacement a bit cramped in the pickup truck. Because of extensive rain the animals in Etosha were more dispersed so we probably saw fewer than otherwise. Not your fault, of course and still good. Thank you.Show more

  I do not have a Yellow Fever vaccination and visited Brazil at the start of last year. Are they likley to see the stamp in my passport and reject me entry? I have been told there is only if entering Namibia from a country on the restricted list

  You are correct — a Yellow Fever vaccination is only required if you are entering Namibia directly from a country on the restricted list, or if you have recently transited through one of those countries. Immigration officials usually check your point of departure rather than older passport stamps. If you are not travelling to Namibia directly from Brazil or another restricted country, it is very unlikely that this would affect your entry.

  Yes you will require a visa to enter Namibia. The visa application can be completed at the airport upon your arrival. The process typical takes plus minus 1 hour and is very straight forward.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
