  I am a 51 year old Australian solo traveller. I am interested in this tour and would like to check if there is availability? If so, I have some questions; please confirm the price, is my age appropriate to the rest of the group already booked on this trip? i.e. Can you give me an indication of the demographics already booked, Wherever possible can I get the single supplement such as own room/tent etc.? Anything else I should be aware of?

    Your age would be perfectly appropriate for this tour as the travel style caters for ages 12 and up, but generally has a more mature crowd booking our Africa options. While this tour does offer the single supplement option, it is subject to availability. Should you require a Visa for this tour, it is the responsibility of the traveller to obtain this, however we can assist with some of the information you may require for your application.

    The Price is 5299 AUD. Demographics: 3 Travellers booked, 14 on the Combo tours = 17 travellers from Europe, North America and Oceania born from the 1950s to early 2000s, majority are female and 30% are travelling solo. Single Supplement is an additional 789 AUD. Nearest Start Airport? Nairobi (NBO). Nearest Finish Airport? Zanzibar (ZNZ). The Arrival transfer costs 50 AUD from the airport to the hotel.

  On this tour what does the accommodation "full-service" camping mean? On some of your other tours it says "permanent tented camp", what does that mean? Does this include transfer or plane back to Kilimanjaro airport? What does onward travel should not be booked earlier than 230pm mean

    Camping Accommodation: The full Service camping means that you will be sleeping in tents provided with a sleeping mattress, around 5cm thick and will be pitched for you at your camp grounds. The permanent tented camp will refer to a more solid structure, also still in the form of a tent but with access to more of a stretcher bed and sleeping mattress. Keep in mind depending on the tour style, some accommodations in e permanent tented camp will have en-suite bathroom facilities. This tour will end upon arrival back into Stone Town and a transfer back to the airport will not be included. You will be able to ask your CEO (tourleader) for assistance in arranging a transfer for you back to the airport at an additional cost. We advise that you do not book any flights back home or any additional day tours, activities, etc, before 2:30pm as there could be delays on the final day getting back to Stone Town and booking any flights earlier than the recommended time could result in flights being missed. The closest Airport we suggest to fly out of for this tour at the end is Zanzibar airport ZNZ as Killamanjaro airport is over 12hours drive away from Stone Town.

    On the full service camping would we need to bring our own sleeping bags?

    All camping equipment (with the exception of your sleeping bag and pillow) is supplied. We supply canvas dome tents with built-in mesh insect nets on the doors and windows. Mattresses are also available, which are approximately 4cm thick, warm and comfortable. Please note drinking water, ice, and fire wood are not provided but can be bought locally with the assistance of the Chief Experience Officer.

Discounts are non-combinable, if the tour you are most interested in is on sale, we will apply the sale cost, and your evaluation discount could be used in the future for an adventure of which is not on sale.
