On the whole I saw a great deal of South Africa in the South African Escape Tour via the Garden and Panorama Routes....
On the whole I saw a great deal of South Africa in the South African Escape Tour via the Garden and Panorama Routes. However, the weather was atrocious for the first leg necessitating a great deal of hard work by the Tour Leader and Driver to get us on viable roads to keep us safe. A number of optional excursions had to be cancelled e.g. the Marine Big 5, Cango Caves etc because of the weather e.g. tides, landslides - washed away roads etc. Most of the places we visited were damp underfoot placing extra strain on people carrying injuries e.g. bad knees , disc injuries etc. The entire tour was exhausting due to the early departures. There were a few gems when it came to accommodation e.g.the Windsor Hotel in Hermanus; Tsitsikamma Village Inn and Timbatavi Guest Lodge in the Kruger Region. The food on the whole was adequate. Most of the wineries and tastings we participated in were outstanding. The three game drives were highlights creating many special memories for group members.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before August 7th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after August 7th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Expat Explore Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
