Itinerary
- Day 1
Johannesburg to Livingstone
You'll fly from Johannesburg to Livingstone and get transferred to Royal Livingstone Hotel right on the Zambezi River. The hotel sits adjacent to Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, just upstream from Victoria Falls, so you can settle in and watch for hippos and elephants from the grounds throughout the day.

Landmarks Victoria Falls Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park Zambezi River - Day 2
Livingstone
After breakfast, you'll head out on a guided tour to see Victoria Falls up close. Later, there's time to walk through the local market for curios and souvenirs before returning for lunch. By evening, you'll take the African Queen sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River with drinks and snacks on board.

Livingstone to Lower Zambezi Valley
You'll have breakfast and then transfer to Livingstone Airport for a light aircraft flight through Lusaka to the Lower Zambezi Valley. Once you arrive, you'll check into Royal Zambezi Lodge, which sits on the river in the heart of the African wilderness.

Landmarks Zambezi River - Days 4 - 5
Lower Zambezi Valley
Over the next two days at Royal Zambezi Lodge, you can do game drives, canoe safaris, boating safaris, and fishing trips through rugged hills and flood plains. There's also the option to visit local villages or simply relax and take in the quiet of the African landscape if that appeals to you more.

Landmarks Zambezi River - Day 6
Lower Zambezi Valley to Johannesburg
This morning you'll do one final game drive, then head to the airstrip for a light aircraft flight back to Lusaka. From there you'll catch a commercial flight to Johannesburg, wrapping up your 5-day Zambia Safari adventure.
