Asked on December 10th, 2025Are these guranteed departure if I book now - even if im the only one who books by chance? Or, if there's a minimum, is there any of the sale dates that have reached minimum numbers so will be guaranteed? Is there any changes since the recent tragedy at the park that may impact these treks going ahead in January?
G AdventuresOperator•Written December 2025All of our trips have guaranteed departures, so no minimum numbers required for the trip to go ahead. The affected are of the track is currently closed, but we have been advised that the trips will run on an amended itinerary until the affected track is reopened

Traveler•Written December 2025Is there any word on if the track is intended to be reopened for january/remainder of the season?
- S
Simon
Traveler•Written December 2025If It does reopen and then close again prior for my trek, what happens then if the full O cannot be completed? Is there some sort of partial refund given or are alternative treks done?

Simon
Traveler•Written December 20251. Im an experienced trekker. I have all my own gear. Layers, rain shell, puffy, sleeping bag, mat etc. But i do not currently have a tent. Do I need my own tent or is one provided and, if so, do I carry my own tent or do the guides carry the tent? Just so I can work out approx weight I'll be carrying. Is it a mix of tent and Refugio sleeping with your company?
G AdventuresOperator•Written December 2025All camping equipment for the Paine trek (including your sleeping bag/tent/mat) is provided and included in the cost of your trip, apart from hiking poles, waterproof overpants and gaiters. You can bring these items with you or rent them in Puerto Natales. You will have porters to carry camping equipment and food. You will also have extra porters to carry a total of 5 kgs/11 pounds of personal items per passenger.

Simon
Traveler•Written December 2025Once booked, can I organise the porter to carry my actual sleeping bag (1.2kg) and mat (800g) instead of a company supplied one for me or no?
G AdventuresOperator•Written December 2025Yes, the sleeping bag can be included in the 5kg total that porters are allowed to carry. They can only carry a max of 5kg per traveller so if they are already carrying 5kg of your belongings you would need to carry the sleeping bag yourself.

Asked on September 3rd, 2025Is there a minimum number of trekkers for the tour to go ahead? If, by chance, I was the only trekker for the date - would the trek be cancelled? And, if so, what is the notice period?
G AdventuresOperator•Written September 2025We don't have minimum required numbers on any of our tours, they depart regardless of how many people are booked. If someone was the only person booked on a departure, we would tell them in advance, but wouldn't automatically cancel them.

Traveler•Written September 2025I see theres a lot of discounts offered for 2025 and early 2026 so I will hold off booking yet, to see if some discount sales end up going on in nov 2026. Unless theres discount codes that can be applied now to that date.
G AdventuresOperator•Written September 2025Unfortunately, we do not have this departure on sale. But you are more than welcome to keep an eye out to see if it comes on sale in the future.

Asked on August 8th, 2024I never had done camping before. Always stayed at the hotel. What do I need to expect? Lugguages transported? Sleeping bags provided? Showers provided? Public toilets provided? Do I need to carry only daypack?
G AdventuresOperator•Written August 2024All camping equipment for the Paine trek (including your sleeping bag/tent/mat) is provided and included in the cost of your trip, apart from hiking poles, waterproof overpants and gaiters. You can bring these items with you or rent them in Puerto Natales. You may leave the bulk of your gear and anything not needed while on the trek in storage in Puerto Natales. A good size daypack is essential. There are showers in all the campsites. Water is available at the streams, and it is fresh water passengers can drink. Guides will let the passengers know where they can refill their water bottles. It is necessary for the passenger to bring a reusable water bottle, as we don't provide plastic water bottles anymore in the boxlunches. Campsites have showers and toilets but being in the middle of a national park we cannot guarantee they will always have hot water.

G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2024The deposit of 20% is due upon booking. The remainder of the payment is due 30 days to the tour. You can set up a payment plan with Tour Radar and let them know the payment terms you want!

Asked on June 24th, 2024I would like to know the number of miles to walk on each day. We did the Camino de Santiago 100 k walk last year and were able to do every day but were the last to arrive, and the 22 k day was challenging. What do you think?
G AdventuresOperator•Written June 2024This tour has a physical grading of 5 out of 5 - Challenging. Serious high-altitude hikes, or other instances of heavy exercise. Come prepared to sweat a bit. Here is a day to day itinerary for Torres del Paine - Full Circuit Trek: DAY 2 - BASE TORRES: Hiking distance: 11, 8 miles (19km), Hike duration: 7-8 hours, Hiking elevation Gain: 2430 feet (741 mt).
