Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You'll head out from Arusha with a transfer to Tarangire National Park, taking roughly four hours to get there. Once you arrive, settle into your lodge and get oriented with the staff about what to expect. This evening you can relax at your accommodation or take a short walk around the grounds to adjust to the surroundings before your first full day of game drives tomorrow.

Landmarks Tarangire National Park 
- Day 2
Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you'll travel from Tarangire toward the Serengeti, a drive that takes most of the day with a lunch break somewhere along the way. The landscape opens up as you head west, and by afternoon you'll arrive at your Serengeti accommodation. Check in and spend your evening watching the light change over the plains from your lodge.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park 
- Day 3
Serengeti National Park
You'll spend the entire day on game drives throughout the Serengeti with your guide, starting early before sunrise when animals are most active. Your guide navigates different sections looking for lions, zebras, wildebeest, elephants, and countless other species. You'll break for lunch at a scenic spot, then continue driving through the afternoon. By evening you'll head back to the lodge to rest and review what you've seen.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park - Day 4
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Leave the Serengeti this morning and head toward Ngorongoro Crater, a drive of about three to four hours depending on traffic. You'll descend into the crater region and check into your accommodation, which sits on the rim with views overlooking this massive geological formation. The altitude here is notably higher, so take it easy this evening and stay hydrated.

Landmarks Ngorongoro Crater 
- Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire National Park
You'll journey back toward Tarangire from Ngorongoro, traveling through different ecosystems and landscapes as you cross through Tanzania. This drive takes most of the day, and you'll see varied terrain and wildlife habitats. By late afternoon you'll arrive back at your Tarangire lodge, which gives you another night to explore or rest before your final destination.

Landmarks Tarangire National Park - Day 6
Tarangire to Lake Manyara to Arusha
Head out early to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its unique tree-climbing lions and incredible bird watching opportunities, just a short drive from your current location. Spend the morning and early afternoon on game drives here, then travel back toward Arusha by late afternoon. You'll arrive in Arusha by evening, marking the end of your safari experience and giving you time to pack and prepare for departure.
