The price will depend on the hotel category you choose. Transportation for the tours is provided in a van with a capacity for approximately 15 to 18 participants. The group size for the tour is also between 15 and 18 people.

Are there no shared accommodations for this tour? Do you know the degree of difficulty for the trek to Rainbow Mountain? Are there other transportation option to Lima after the tour (other than flight)?

No, there are no shared rooms with other passengers; the accommodation is exclusively for you. For this tour, you need to select the single room option. Regarding the hike to Rainbow Mountain, the difficulty level is moderate to challenging, mainly due to the high altitude, so good acclimatization is recommended. For returning to Lima after the tour, besides flying, you can also travel by interprovincial bus. The journey takes approximately 18 to 20 hours.

Is this trip suitable for solo travel? If i Book this, I just have to make sure I be there in Cusco on the date and everything else is looked after?

I joined the 6 days Cusco tour with Kantu. I was kept informed of the itinerary every step of the way and the pickup is always on time, the guides are professional and courteous. The only improvement I would suggest is the hotels and buffet meals could do a bit better. I upgraded to 4 star accommodation but the hotels I stayed in are 3 stars at best. The inclusive breakfast and lunch buffet can improve somewhat, although I do understand these are included as part of the package and couldn’t expect too much. Overall I had a very positive experience with Kantu and I would recommend it to anyone!Show more

  However, we are pleased to offer you two alternative options that still provide an unforgettable experience at Machu Picchu:
  
  1. Circuit 1B – Panoramic Viewpoint
  
  This circuit allows access to the upper part of Machu Picchu, where you can enjoy the iconic panoramic view of the citadel and take the classic photo. Please note that this option does not include entry into the main citadel and is primarily designed as a scenic viewpoint.
  
  2. Circuit 3B + "Realeza Diseñada"
  
  This route takes you through some of the most sacred and historically significant areas once used by Inca royalty. Along the way, you will visit impressive high-ranking architectural structures, qolqas (ancient storage buildings), agricultural terraces, ceremonial enclosures, and the Temple of the Condor, among other highlights. Please note that this circuit does not include access to the classic panoramic photo spot.

I'm confused. Please review Day 2 and Day 3. The last paragraph. After a suitable wait, we embark on a scenic 1 hour and 45-minute train journey, met at Aguas Calientes station by our team who'll escort you to the hotel. Later in the evening around 8 p.m., our local Machupicchu guide will contact you, providing further insights about the upcoming Machupicchu tour.

  No, there are no shared rooms with other passengers; the accommodation is exclusively for you. For this tour, you need to select the single room option. Regarding the hike to Rainbow Mountain, the difficulty level is moderate to challenging, mainly due to the high altitude, so good acclimatization is recommended. For returning to Lima after the tour, besides flying, you can also travel by interprovincial bus. The journey takes approximately 18 to 20 hours.
