Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll arrive in Kathmandu and get picked up at the airport for the drive to your hotel. That evening, sit down with your tour manager and trek guide for a briefing about the Mardi Himal Trek, where they'll go over the route, what to expect, and answer any questions. If you need to grab any last-minute hiking gear or want advice on what you're bringing, your guide can help you sort that out before you head out tomorrow.

- Day 2
Kathmandu to Pokhara
Take a tourist-standard bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara, which is about 6 hours of driving through some nice terrain. You'll pass through areas with terraced farms, rivers, waterfalls, and the occasional view of mountains in the distance. Once you arrive, head to Phewa Lake to catch the sunset, then walk through Pokhara's Lakeside Market in the evening to get a feel for the town.

Pokhara to Kande - Deurali Trek
Drive from Pokhara to Kande, passing through rural areas with snow-capped mountains visible along the way. Your trek begins at Kande, and you'll walk through green hills and forests, stopping at Australian Camp and Pothana before climbing up to Pitam Deurali. The views of the Annapurna range from here are really the reason you came on this trek.

Landmarks Annapurna Range Australian Camp - Day 4
Trek to Forest Camp
From here on, you'll be hiking through thick forests with maple, hemlock, oak, and rhododendron trees. The trail gets quieter and more remote as you move deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary. By the end of the day, you'll reach Forest Camp, also called Kokar, where you'll settle in for the night.

Landmarks Annapurna Sanctuary - Day 5
Trek to High Camp
After about an hour of hiking, you'll pass Low Camp and notice the trees start thinning out. From here, you can see the Annapurna range on your left and Mt. Machhapuchhre at 6,997 meters on your right. You'll trek through red rhododendron trees with different plants and wildlife around, eventually arriving at High Camp at 3,550 meters.

Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek
Start early and tackle the steep, narrow trail that leads to Mardi Himal Base Camp, the highest point of your entire trek. Once you get there, take time to take in views of Fishtail, Hiunchuli, Annapurna, Nilgiri, and Dhaulagiri. You'll head back down the same route and end up at Low Camp for the night.

- Day 7
Trek to Siding - Return to Pokhara
Trek from Low Camp down to Siding village, where you can see how mountain people live and learn about their customs and way of life. From there, hop on a shared vehicle heading back to Pokhara. The evening is free, so you can either wander around the lakeside or rent a boat and get out on Fewa Lake.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast, board a nice tourist bus heading to Kathmandu via the Prithvi Highway. The 210-kilometer trip takes 7 to 8 hours depending on traffic, and you'll see a lot of different scenery along with busy bazaars in places like Damauli, Dumre, and Mugling. Once you're back in Kathmandu, join a celebration in the evening to mark finishing the trek.
