Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You'll arrive at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport where your driver meets you, then head straight to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. The Tarangire River acts as the only reliable water source during dry season, so you'll find hundreds of animals congregating around it. The park offers varied landscapes with savanna plains, swamps, hills, and those iconic baobab trees scattered throughout.

Tarangire to Lake Natron
After breakfast, you'll check out and drive toward Lake Natron, which has this volcanic moon-like appearance that's quite striking. By the time you arrive at Africa Safari Lake Natron Camp right next to the lake, you can either relax by the swimming pool or take an optional trip to Ngare Sero Waterfall if you're interested.

Lake Natron to Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast, the drive to Serengeti National Park begins. The name means 'endless plain' in the Maasai language, and you'll start understanding why during your game drive en route to camp. This first day gives you an introduction to the wildlife destination as you settle in.

- Day 4
Serengeti National Park
You'll spend the full day in the Serengeti with game drives throughout. The landscape shifts depending on where you are: open grass plains in the south, savanna with scattered acacia trees through the center, and hilly wooded grassland in the north. Massive herds of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope move across the plains, and you'll spot predators like lions and cheetahs near the kopjes.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park - Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Start with an early game drive heading toward Ngorongoro Crater, then descend 600 meters into this massive crater that's 16km across and 265 sq km in area. Inside, approximately 20,000 large animals call the crater floor home, including lion, cheetah, eland, zebra, and gazelle. You'll also see flamingos and other bird species around Makati Soda Lake. By mid-afternoon, you'll drive back to Arusha or transfer to the airport for your departure.
