- Day 1
Arrival in Kilimanjaro
You'll land at Kilimanjaro International Airport where your guide meets you for a private transfer through the green foothills and local villages toward Moshi. The drive takes you to Kilimanjaro White House Hotel, and once you arrive, your guide goes over what's ahead, checks your gear, and sorts out any equipment you might need. After settling in, you'll have a hearty local dinner to kick things off.

Marangu Route Trek to Mandara Hut
Head out early with your certified guide for the Marangu Route trek up to Mandara Hut. The hike gives you a real sense of Kilimanjaro's scale and beauty without the full summit push. You'll grab lunch at Mandara Hut (around 2,700 meters) with nice views across the landscape, then make your way back down to Moshi in the afternoon to rest up.

Materuni Waterfalls, Coffee Culture & Chemka Hot Springs
Start the morning with fresh Tanzanian coffee, then drive to Materuni Village at 1,800 meters where local farmers show you how the Chagga people grow, roast, and brew their coffee. After that, take a walk to Materuni Waterfalls and the natural pool below. Later you'll head to Kikuletwa Hot Springs (Chemka), where the turquoise water is perfect for soaking and floating around.

Maasai Village & Journey to Arusha
You're driving toward Maasai country now, past rolling hills, acacia trees, and cattle herds watched over by warriors in red shukas. Stop at a Maasai Village where warriors welcome you with traditional chants and hospitality. Your personal Maasai guide shares knowledge about their way of life and relationship with the land, and you'll try chai brewed over a fire, learn about medicinal plants, and see traditional dances. After lunch, continue on to Arusha.

Tarangire National Park Safari
Enter Tarangire National Park for a full day safari across the golden savannah. The park's known for its tall baobab trees and large elephant herds, and you'll spot lions, giraffes, yellow-collared lovebirds, cheetahs, and warthogs throughout the day. By evening you'll head to Ngedere Lodges & Camps or Fig Tree Lodge and Camp for dinner under the stars.

Ngorongoro Crater Rim to Serengeti National Park
Travel from the highlands toward the Serengeti, passing along the rim of Ngorongoro Crater where wildlife can show up unexpectedly. This UNESCO World Heritage Site spreads out with herds of wildebeest and zebra across the horizon. You'll have a picnic lunch on a kopje, then continue into the park looking for lions and gazelles. At dusk you'll reach Tumbili Public Campsite and settle in for the night.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Wake early in the Serengeti as light spreads across the plains and wildlife stirs after the night. After a game drive catching the morning action, you'll move toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area through changing landscapes. Rest tonight at Simba Public Campsite near the crater rim, where you'll warm up around a fire and take in the night sky.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Day 8
Ngorongoro Crater Descent to Lake Manyara
Drop down into the Ngorongoro Crater, an ancient volcanic caldera packed with life. You'll see lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and leopards alongside flamingos, zebras, and wildebeest all living together in this natural sanctuary. During a picnic lunch in the shade, your guide talks about the geology and how animals survive here. By late afternoon you'll climb back out and head to Mto wa Mbu near Lake Manyara.

Lake Manyara National Park Safari
Your final safari takes you to Lake Manyara National Park at the foot of the Great Rift Valley. Explore the evergreen forests, open floodplains, and the soda lake, looking for the park's famous tree-climbing lions on acacia branches and elephants in the morning light. With over 400 bird species around, you might spot pink flamingos and kingfishers. After a leisurely picnic, head back to Arusha for the evening.
