Very disappointed with the tour operator Bryan from Spider Tours and Safaris. We booked this tour based on their itinerary and accommodation list - booked in March 25 and paid the final deposit in November. We were met by the tour operator upon arrival and not advised on any changes. We were horrified when we were brought to the first hotel which was called The Breeze (near Samburu) which was a very low budget hotel. We told our guide/driver that this was not what was stated in the itinerary and showed him the accommodation list that was provided. Upon contacting Brayan he offered his "sincere" apologies and said that he did not have enough people sign up for the tour and had to downgrade all of our accommodations. And a bunch of other excuses but did not offer to fix it. It took several messages and alot of pressure before he finally agreed to rebook some (not all) of the accommodations. I have to mention that our driver and guide Paul who also works for other tour companies was amazing and helped us tremendously,. I don't know what we would have done without his helpShow more

Not as advertised. The tour operator Brayan chose to substantially lower the quality of hotels without any communication to us. We were placed in budget hotels, once in a cheap motel, not close to the type advertised in the itinerary. Many times we were the only guests of the hotel. Only after our second complaint (on the 5th day) did he do anything to improve it, and except for one place, it was way below expectations. I do not recommend Spider Tours. However, our guides Paul (Kenya) and Valence (Tansania) were amazing - knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating.Show more

- For any tour departing before October 21st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Spider Tours and Safaris. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
