Itinerary
- Day 1
Brisbane
After landing in Brisbane, head to the hostel to meet your group. You'll have time to settle in and get to know everyone before the tour officially kicks off at 3pm, so try arriving a bit early if possible.
- Day 2
Brisbane
This day is yours to explore Brisbane however you'd like. Check out Australia Zoo to see native wildlife, or relax at The Lagoon if you're after something more low-key. Later on, meet up with the group for a night out in Fortitude Valley.

Brisbane to Rainbow Beach
The group heads to Rainbow Beach, a laid-back coastal town. You can relax on the sand or walk through town and get a feel for the place. Your group leader will help arrange any travel plans you need for other parts of Australia.

- Day 4
Rainbow Beach to K'gari (Fraser Island)
You're heading to K'gari, the world's biggest sand island, for the next 3 days. Drive 4x4s across the beach and sand dunes, which actually serve as your highway here. That night you'll camp under the stars at a purpose-built campsite with the group.

K'gari (Fraser Island)
On day two of K'gari, jump into the turquoise waters of Lake McKenzie and float down the lazy waters of Eli Creek. There's plenty more of the island to explore with your group throughout the day.

K'gari (Fraser Island)
Check out more interesting spots on K'gari including the Maheno Shipwreck and the Champagne Pools. Your guide shares information about Aboriginal history on the island, and you might spot wild dingoes if you're lucky.

K'gari (Fraser Island) to Airlie Beach
Head back to Rainbow Beach and take one last look at the coloured sand dunes. From there, you'll board an overnight bus heading to The Whitsundays, arriving the next day.

Airlie Beach
Board your boat for a 2-night sailing adventure around 74 tropical islands in the Whitsundays. Relax on deck as you sail toward the outer reaches of the Great Barrier Reef.

Whitsundays
On your second day sailing, get in the water to snorkel with marine life around the islands. Later, you'll explore Whitehaven Beach with its distinctive swirls of fine white sand.

- Day 10
Whitsundays to Airlie Beach
Continue exploring the Whitsundays islands, beaches, and marine life as you head back to the mainland. Once in Airlie Beach, you'll have some free time to relax and settle in.

Airlie Beach
Take a free day to explore Airlie Beach at your own pace. There are optional activities available if you want some adventure, or you can simply relax and enjoy the beach town.

Airlie Beach to Magnetic Island
Take the ferry to Magnetic Island, a tropical spot off the coast. Relax in an ocean-front hammock and explore the hidden beaches scattered around the island.

Magnetic Island
Hike up Forts Walk, a historic trail that gives great views across the island. Keep an eye out for wild koalas and rock wallabies in their natural habitat.

Magnetic Island to Mission Beach
Travel to Mission Beach, a chilled-out beachfront town that's great for relaxing. It also has plenty of optional activities if you're looking for some excitement.

Mission Beach
Today you call the shots. Go for a skydive, relax on the beach, try white water rafting, or do something completely different. Later, meet the group for a BBQ dinner. The Oz Jobs Program is also available to help you find work in Australia.

Mission Beach to Cairns
Travel to Cairns, a major hub for backpackers seeking adventure in Australia. Get settled and prepare for what's coming next.
- Day 17
Cairns
Spend a full day on the Great Barrier Reef, sailing and snorkelling at outer reef locations in this World Heritage site. After you're back on shore, get ready for a night out with the group.

Cairns

Cairns to Atherton Tablelands
Head to the Atherton Tablelands to see natural wonders including waterfalls, dormant volcano craters, and natural rock slides. Your guide shares what makes this region special. The day ends with a farewell dinner and drinks to celebrate your adventures and new friendships.
