  Could you provide the name of camp (or camps)? Also, for the mobile camping on day 3-5, is there electricity inside the mobile tent? Is there nearby bathroom and shower facility? Who set up / pack up the mobile tent everyday?

    The lodge is called Boteti Tented Safari Lodge. There is no electricity inside the mobile camping tents. Your guide will have a power supply with him to charge any electronics. Bucket showers will be set up for you and a shared bathroom facility. The staff will be setting up the mobile camping tents and the rest of area. You do not need to participate in this. You will have your own private chef and staff.

    Unfortunately, the lodge is fully booked on the night of the 15 September 2026. Are you possibly flexible to start a day earlier or later? If not, we can then amend the itinerary so that another mobile camping night to be added on Day 6.

    Since you guys are specializing in Botswana tours, could you give us some suggestions to help us make a better decision? Such as comparing the current itinerary vs. including in the Savuti in aspects like: weather to have good quality of time for wildlife viewing; price difference; camping condition, ect.

    While Savuti is indeed well-known for their lion prides, it is a bit out of the way and will significantly impact your itinerary (it does not make sense for less than 2 days), so we will have to look at a completely different itinerary here, and it will be quite a bit more expensive - but a lot less travelling back and forth (which is an unfortunate negative of the road conditions in this area). For the 3 evenings of Day 4 to 6, we have three different accommodation options (pending availability) at 3 different price points: 1. Khwai Mobile Camps. This will be in a spacious dome tent, with a fully made up double or two twin beds. Each tent has its own ablutions, but it is seperate from the tent. Best option if you need the basic creature comfort, but an immersive "real" safari experience. 2. Hippo Pools which is our mid-range safari tented rooms. Fully equipped double bed with en-suite bathroom. Best option if you want to have a bit more comfort but not break the bank. 3. Saguni Safari Camp. This is a more luxury camp, with very comfy tented rooms. IF you want to spoil yourself after "roughing it" on the mobile safari, then this is a good option.

    Could you please provide prices for this Savuti included itinerary with the three different camp options. In addition, please provide the price difference between using Helicopter transfer vs. road transfer. Because we do have a concern regarding the luggage weight and size restrictions for the helicopter flight. As we have other trips both before and after this Botswana tour, each of us will be traveling with one soft backpack and one wheeled suitcase. Although the suitcases are made of lightweight fiber, they do have a firm shape (including wheels) and measure approximately 68 cm x 44 cm x 26 cm. So, if we take the helicopter tour, how can our luggage get transfer to airport?

    Option 1: USD 2970.00 per person sharing. Khwai Mobile Camps. This will be in a spacious dome tent, with a fully made up double or two twin beds. Each tent has its own ablutions, but it is seperate from the tent. Best option if you need the basic creature comfort, but an immersive "real" safari experience. Option 2. USD 3540.00 per person sharing Hippo Pools Camp which is our mid-range safari tented rooms. Fully equipped double bed with en-suite bathroom. Best option if you want to have a bit more comfort but not break the bank. Option 3. USD 5410.00 per person sharing Saguni Safari Camp. This is a more luxury camp, with very comfy tented rooms. IF you want to spoil yourself after "roughing it" on the mobile safari, then this is a good option. Helicopter flight on the last day: USD 430 per person additionally.

    I have received information that the luggage restrictions for a helicopter transfer is indeed on soft luggage, and a maximum of 20kg of luggage per passenger. So, perhaps this will not work as a transfer. If you really want a helicopter flight, we can also do one picking you up and dropping you at camp again, perhaps Day 7. Then we shorten the game drive a little bit.
