  My girlfriend and I had an incredible 7 day Golden Triangle Tour with Varanasi. Everything was perfectly organized, and we enjoyed every moment of the journey. The Taj Mahal at sunrise was breathtaking, Jaipur was full of culture and history, and Varanasi was a truly unforgettable experience. A special thanks to our driver Rinku, who was always punctual professional, and made us feel safe throughout the trip. We also appreciated the excellent guides Amir in Delhi, Imran in Agra vishal in Jaipur, and Sunny in Varanasi. Their knowledge and friendly attitude made each destinations come alive. We returned home with wonderful memories and highly recommend this trip to couples looking to explore India’s riche heritage and culture.Show more

  I’ll admit I felt a bit apprehensive at first, as communication from the tour operator was limited and I hadn’t received hotel confirmations in advance. However, a few days before my arrival, everything became clear and I was reassured knowing someone would be there to meet me at the airport. From that moment on, the experience was smooth and enjoyable. My driver was excellent throughout the trip—always punctual, helpful with check-ins, and thoughtful enough to keep water stocked for every journey. He kept me well-informed about daily plans and timings, which made everything feel organized and stress-free. The roads in northern India can be quite hectic, but I quickly came to trust his driving skills—so much so that I was even able to relax and sleep during some of the longer drives. The itinerary is fast-paced, but understandably so, as it allows you to experience a wide range of incredible sites in a limited time. The tour guides were fantastic—highly knowledgeable and passionate, adding meaningful context to each location. They also made everything seamless, from navigating entry procedures and etiquette to helping with photos (even going the extra mile to clear spaces for the perfect shot!). I was particularly fortunate with the timing of my visit, coinciding with festivals that allowed free access to certain sites in Jaipur and the Taj Mahal in Agra. Some personal highlights included Jantar Mantar in Delhi, where the guide brought the astronomical instruments to life with fascinating explanations—especially meaningful as I was celebrating my birthday during Pisces season. Agra Fort made me feel like royalty, with my guide ensuring I could fully enjoy the experience while he handled the photography. And of course, the Taj Mahal was unforgettable, made even more special by a guide who doubled as a talented photographer. Varanasi offered a completely different pace and atmosphere. My guide (Sunny) there was exceptional, providing deep insight into daily life and Hindu traditions, which added so much meaning to the experience. I was also introduced to some amazing local food, including samosas, chana kachori, and paan. Although I missed out on the boat ride due to a religious holiday, visiting the Dhamek Buddhist Temple proved to be a wonderful alternative. Overall, this was a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend. While I would have appreciated more detailed information ahead of the trip—particularly regarding hotel confirmations—and the opportunity to meet fellow travelers, the personalized nature of the tour also had its advantages. It allowed for flexibility and ensured I could travel on my preferred dates. All in all, a memorable and enriching journey.Show more

  Let me start by saying this, Coxan Tours has put a lot of time and effort into creating a tailored, authentic experience in all the cities that you visit. In each location you are paired with local tour guides that are born and raised in the area. You’re never taken to tourist traps, you’re taken to small, local businesses where you’re shown the craft of the people in a private setting that lets you immerse yourself in the experience. Every detail is thought of and every experience is unique. The entire trip was immersive and truly felt like we were being welcomed into the culture of all the towns and cities we visited. As two female travelers in India for the first time, we felt we were in incredibly good hands. The operator was very helpful in making changes to the itinerary to fit our needs and sharing travel and safety information to ensure a smooth journey. The trip was so well planned from start to finish and our accommodation, guides, and driver were absolutely superb. A notable mention was most definitely Sunjay who was our guide in Jaipur. He was so knowledgeable and personable, showing us the best spots to eat, and making us feel right at home in the Pink City. Also Sunny who was our spectacular guide in Varanasi, who showed us the area as if we were family and made our experience so much more special. But the best part of the tour was most certainly our driver, who we affectionately nick-named Rinku Chacha (Uncle Rinku). From Delhi to Jaipur to Agra and back again, he was so wonderful - explaining local customs and landmarks, stopping for us to take photos, teaching us Hindi, and making detours along the way so we could try drinks and snacks. He was very reliable and trustworthy, taking extra care with all of our items, and his sense of humor made our trip so much more enjoyable. I cannot thank him and all of our lovely guides enough for making our first trip to India so incredible!!Show more
