Gorilla trekking was much easier than expected, for which I was very grateful for being 70 yrs old (we really lucked out they were at the border of the park). Our guide was very knowledgeable, patient and kind. Akagera National Park was beautiful and allowed us to see many animals; really enjoyed the boat ride in the lake at dusk! Accomodations and food were great! Highly recommend! The only downfall I would say is this company, G Adventures, was not the most respectful in relaying answers from my questions. They also never followed up or seemed to care how this is went, as opposed to Worldwide Adventures who I used for my Tanzanian trip later.Show more

This tour exceeded all of my expectations in every way. We saw an abundance of wildlife and the experience was nothing short of astounding. The accommodations and food were also extremely good. While the partnership between Tour Radar and National Geographic was good, it was sometimes confusing as to who to contact for certain issues. Our Tour Guide, Rose was tremendous. Extremely knowledgeable, personable, organized: she managed to blend all of the knowledge of the various animals and peoples beautifully. Our driver, Joseph was also incredible in his ability to navigate a tough terrain and lead us to some spectacular sights. I’m forever grateful. Thank you, Tour Radar. You’ve done it again!Show more
