    Meals: 3 meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) are included. You can choose from the menu each time for one meal. If you want additional meals, you can pay extra directly at the teahouse.
    
    Additional Costs: lunch and dinner in Kathmandu or during the trek extra Food and beverages such as extra food, tea, coffee, hot water, mineral water, desserts, pies, puddings, hot showers, battery charging, Wi-Fi, internet, chocolate, and any kind of hot or cold drinks are not included in the package. For these additional items, we recommend bringing at least 35,000 to 40,000 Nepali Rupees per person (approximately 250 USD). The amount you spend is up to you.
    
    Tips: Tipping for guides and porters is a cultural practice and is not included in the package. The recommended Normal tip is $210 for the guide and $180 for the porter, but this can vary based on your satisfaction with their service.
    
    Equipment provided: Down jacket, Sleeping Bag, Duffel Bag, and walking Poles are provided by Sherpa Expedition
    
    Lukla flight you can bring with you max 15 kg including all things if more than that they charge per kg - 150 Rupee

    If I secure specific dates, will this automatically be a group departure? If no other travellers book onto the same dates, what would happen in that scenario? Would the trip still run at the same price, would it become a private trip with an additional cost, or would I have the option to shift dates?

    Could you please clearly confirm exactly what is included in the trip price and what I would need to arrange or pay for myself (for example: personal equipment, insurance, medications, snacks, etc.)?

    I've heard that during the Three High Passes trek there may be opportunities to add optional side trips or excursions along the way. Is this something your itinerary allows? If so, are these decisions made in advance or during the trek itself, and are there any additional costs involved?

    Could you also let me know what support is provided in relation to altitude sickness and general health/safety on the trek? For example, guides' training, acclimatisation protocols, oxygen availability, or evacuation procedures — and what I would be expected to organise personally.

    We have daily availability, so you may choose any date that is most convenient for you. Your selected trip date is 100% guaranteed to depart, and the trip will operate as scheduled on that same day.
    
    Yes, the trip will proceed at the same price. If you prefer to join a group, there is no additional cost—even if no other group members join on that day. We do not change the trip date, and the departure will take place as planned.

    The following information will give you some idea about what you need to bring for the trek. It is important you do not forget the essential items, as this will determine your comfort and safety on the trek. Equally important is that you do not burden yourself with unnecessary equipment on the trek.
    
    General
    All season sleeping bag and down Jacket (we can provide if you need it, but has to be returned after the trek)
    Duffle bag (Sherpa Expedition & Trekking provide duffle bag during the trek but has to be returned after the trek)
    A wind and waterproof thin layered jacket (a must-have for morning and evenings above 3,000m)
    Daypack
    Upper Body- Head / Ears / Eyewear
    A pair of half gloves
    A warmer hat that covers the ears
    Sunglasses
    Neckwarmer
    Sunscreen (35 to 60 SPF)
    Headlamp and an extra set of batteries
    Hands
    A pair of half gloves for walking poles(if you prefer)
    Warmer shell gloves and liner
    Upper Body
    long sleeve t-shirts
    Thermal tops

    Sports bras for women and girls

    Along the route, you may include optional side trips based on your comfort and interest. If you wish to make any changes to the plan, you can discuss them directly with your guide during the trip. The guide will manage and assist you accordingly.
    
    There is no additional cost for optional side trips; however, changing the date for a side trip is not possible.

    Regarding altitude acclimatisation, our itinerary is carefully designed to allow gradual ascent, giving your body enough time to adapt to higher elevations. We include proper acclimatisation days and maintain a steady walking pace throughout the trek. Our guides are trained to monitor trekkers closely for any signs of altitude sickness.
    
    Our guides are experienced and certified in first aid and altitude awareness. They regularly check your condition, including general health, symptoms, and comfort level. If anyone experiences symptoms such as headache, dizziness, nausea, or fatigue, the guide will take immediate action, which may include rest, slowing the pace, or descending to a lower altitude if necessary.
    
    We strongly encourage trekkers to stay well hydrated, eat properly, and communicate openly with the guide about how they are feeling at all times. If required, medical assistance and evacuation procedures are in place, and our team is well prepared to manage such situations.
    
    Oxygen avaiable at Teahouse. If emergency we will arrange helicoipter that one paid by your travel insurance
    
    In addition, oxygen is available at teahouses along the trekking route if required.
    
    In the event of a medical emergency, we will immediately arrange a helicopter evacuation. The cost of helicopter rescue and medical evacuation would be covered by your travel insurance, so we strongly recommend having comprehensive insurance that includes high-altitude trekking and emergency evacuation.
    
    Your safety and well-being are our highest priorities, and our team is fully prepared to respond quickly and effectively if any emergency arises.

    Can I check - with a lot of the equipment. If I don't have some of it myself and need to get it, will it be possible to rent it off you guys for the duration of the trek?

  If we wanted to spend three days in Kathmandu before the trek would you still collect us from the airport and could we pay extra for two extra nights in the same hotel? Also on the trek roughly how many nights would we be in a private twin room and how many nights in a room with other travellers?
