Arrival in Arusha
Your driver and guide from Lonely Site Tours & Safari will meet you at Kia airport and fill you in on what to expect from Arusha, the country's 'Tourism Capital'. From there it's a transfer to your hotel where you'll have a welcoming dinner and settle in for the night.

Landmarks Arusha City - Day 2
Arusha to Lake Manyara
After breakfast, you'll head into Arusha Town to pick up any last-minute items before traveling on to Lake Manyara National Park. This park sits in a dramatic location and centers around a massive shallow soda lake. You'll see Africa's largest elephant populations here, plus tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and incredibly dense concentrations of baboons. Spend the afternoon on game viewing, then stay overnight at the park.

Landmarks Lake Manyara National Park - Day 3
Lake Manyara to Serengeti
Following breakfast, you'll travel toward Serengeti National Park, passing through highland farmland around Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The landscape opens up into the endless plains of the Serengeti. You'll head to the Seronera area, one of the richest spots for wildlife and home to the Seronera River. Lunch happens when you arrive, then an afternoon game drive gets you out on the plains. Dinner and overnight follows.

- Day 4
Serengeti Full Day Game Drive
This day is yours for full game drives across the Serengeti. You could spot the Big Five, wildebeest, zebras, eland, gazelles, and around 500 bird species out there. Between drives, you'll return to your lodge where you can relax on the raised terrace or cool off at the stone-ringed infinity pool while looking out over the savannah. Meals are included throughout.

- Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
An early morning game drive gets you out before it gets too hot. Then you'll travel to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop at Olduvai Gorge, a place with human history stretching back to our earliest ancestors. Anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey found significant skulls here, the 'Nutcracker Man' and 'Handy Man', which helped us understand human evolution. Late afternoon brings you to camp for dinner and overnight.

Landmarks Olduvai Gorge Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
This morning you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater itself, a UNESCO site and the world's largest intact volcanic caldera covering 100 square miles. The landscape inside remains largely unchanged across centuries with grassland, swamps, lakes, forests, and around 25,000 mammals. You could see elephants, hippos, lions, buffalos, elands, giraffes, waterbucks, and occasionally leopards at close range. Around 1:00 PM there's a picnic lunch by Ngoitok-tok Lake. Late afternoon you'll head back to Arusha for dinner and overnight, or transfer to the airport if your trip is ending.
