Itinerary
- Day 1
Kigali to Bwindi
Your guide will meet you at Kigali International Airport and drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The route depends on your gorilla permit allocation - you'll either cross through the Cyanika border post heading to southern Bwindi's Rushaga sector, or take the Katuna border post to reach the northern Ruhija area. After arriving in time for dinner, you'll settle in at your accommodation for the night.

- Day 2
Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
Breakfast starts at 6:30 am, then you'll head out for gorilla trekking with a packed rain jacket, water, snacks, and proper jungle boots. The trek through dense forest searching for mountain gorillas typically runs 2 to 7 hours depending on where the groups are located that day. After returning from the trek, you'll spend the evening resting at your lodge.

- Day 3
Bwindi to Kigali
The drive back to Kigali takes you through several important memorial sites. You'll stop at the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Richard Kandt House, and Camp Kigali Memorial to pay respects and learn about Rwanda's history. From there, you'll head to the airport for your departure flight.
