Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Arusha
Your Exodus Safari representative meets you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and drives you to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on when you land, you'll have time to either settle in and rest or take a walk around town to get oriented. The drive gives you a chance to see the landscape and start adjusting to the area.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your guide heads out on well-paved roads toward Tarangire National Park, which takes about 2.5 hours. Once there, you'll spend the day watching for large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, and if you're lucky, lions and leopards. The park also has over a thousand bird species scattered throughout. Around midday you'll have a picnic lunch in the park, then continue on to Karatu for the night.

- Days 3 - 5
Serengeti National Park
You'll spend three full days in Serengeti National Park exploring different areas and watching for wildlife. Buffalos, impalas, and various predators like lions and cheetahs roam the landscape, along with crocodiles and hippos near the water. Depending on which season you're there, you might travel to different parts of the park to see the Great Migration. Each day includes picnic lunches served in the park so you don't lose time traveling.

- Day 6
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
This morning starts with a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti before heading toward Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of Africa's most significant natural formations, and exploring the crater floor lets you see wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, hippos, and several predator species including cheetahs and hyenas. You'll also spot endangered black rhinos if the day is good. A picnic lunch happens on the crater floor, then you return to Karatu for the evening.

- Day 7
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha/Airport
After breakfast, the drive takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, which sits at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. During your game drive, you'll look for the park's famous tree-climbing lions along with thousands of flamingos and over 500 bird species. Elephants, baboons, blue monkeys, buffalos, giraffes, and zebras also live here. You'll have a picnic lunch before returning to Arusha or heading to the airport, depending on your travel schedule.
