    The 18-year age limit is generally in place for travellers joining the tour independently. However, we are happy to make an exception for your daughter as she is 17 and will be travelling with a parent/guardian.

    Tour details mention age group as 18-59. We are both 60+. Are we eligible to join the tour? Will our age come in the way of ease of touring at any stage?

    We will be happy to confirm your booking on this tour as long as you feel comfortable with the itinerary. It includes long walking / drive between the destinations, so if you do not have any issue with walking & drive, it should suit you. Related to visas, we do not deal with visas, so you need to check with officials for most up to date & accurate information, however you can check our Trip Notes as a guidance if you wish. As far as we check online, only a few countries are in Schengen area on our itinerary, so each visa requirement needs to be reviewed with related embassy.

  I am looking at the All About Balkans tour and it says ages up to 59. We are 72 but active and just completed an active trip to the Galapagos. Would we be able to consider this tour? Why does it say up to age 59?

    The age guideline (up to 59) is mainly in place to reflect the general travel style and group demographic. However, as long as you are comfortable with the itinerary and activity level, you are both very welcome to participate.

    Can you book on excursions in Athens? I noticed on itinerary there isnt a tour for the ruins/historic landmarks, but hopefully theres an option to add this/pre book this, potentially?

    Just read up about what currency to take with me, I will be using my travel card for many of it, but do you sugguest or recommend a figure to carry, in each currency? As we're not in the countries for long. And in terms of tipping the tour guide at the end, would that be best in Euros?

    As you will be using a travel card for most of your expenses, we would still recommend carrying a small amount of cash in local currency for convenience (such as snacks, small purchases, or places where card payments may not be accepted). A modest amount in each currency is sufficient, as you will not be staying long in each country. For tipping, it is generally best to use Euros, as this is widely accepted and easiest for tour guides across multiple destinations.

    What does the airport transfer to the travel talk hotel on day 1 between 5am - 11:30pm mean?

    My apologies for the confusion, airport transfer is only included on day 1 and not on the last day as per your question "Did I read here also that you get complimentary airport return if you book an extra night?" Airport transfer on the last day is not included for this tour

    Have you ever had anyone fly from the UK? (North, Manchester/Liverpool area) its saying theres no direct flights to Sofia, or back from Athens. This could be a problem. Just wondered if you had any advice, could help

    There are currently 20 passengers booked for March 28th. The group is a mix of friends travelling in pairs, solo travellers and couples.
    
    Private rooms are not available on the majority of our tours unfortunately, our tours operate on a shared room basis.

    By default, our tours are fully confirmed for departure within 60 days of the departure date, as passengers may request date/destination changes until 60 days before the tour. However, there are currently 40 passengers booked for this tour and the departure is very likely to proceed as a full group.   I would like to know if your age range is flexible. This tour "All about the Balkans" has an age range of 18-60. I am 65 but usually travel with younger travel partners.

    Your response did not really make sense. The difference between 60 and 65 is negligible.
    
    As a solo traveler it is much more interesting for me to be engaging in conversation with people who are NOT seniors. I have traveled and shared rooms with individuals twenty years younger or more.
    
    Your company is the only one offering the tours I'm interested in..
    
    It is too bad you are not flexible and have made an arbitrary decision to remove a very large segment of the population from enjoying your tours.

    To clarify, the advertised range denotes the average age range of solo travellers. You're more than welcome to book the tour provided you're comfortable in a twin or triple room setting.
