Thank you for your feedback about the winery, we have taken this on board. We take our passengers to a variety of wineries, including smaller family owned ones. We're also turning our focus towards visiting wineries that use sustainable practices, and make biodynamic wines, for example. If you'd like to provide any more details about what didn't hit the mark for you at Quinninup Eco Park, you're welcome to reach out to us at travel@untamedescapes.com.au We hope to welcome you back on another Untamed Escape sometime soon. Asked on November 3rd, 2025

What is the best time of year for this trip to avoid excessive heat. April or September

    Tour Details
    • Untamed EscapesOperatorWritten November 2025

Spring or Autumn are usually the best to avoid the heat, but really it is January and February you need to avoid. My go to time is end of March into April, as the temperatures start to drop but stay warm, and most of all the water temperature is beautiful as but has warmed up over the summer. November is great, but the water is often still chilly!

    • R

      TravelerWritten November 2025

Do you have any smaller groups with better overnight accommodation but with same or similar itinerary ? Masrch or April /

    • Untamed EscapesOperatorWritten November 2025

Our only scheduled group tours are swag camping. If you wanted alternative accommodation that it would have to be a private tour, but of course this price will jump considerably for this, at $16,580pp for 2 people going. This would be with a private our guide, 4-5* accommodation and excellent food included.

    Tour Details
    • Untamed EscapesOperatorWritten June 2025

For our Adeliade to Perth we do not provide a double swag I am afraid, we only do this on particular journeys. Our single swags are more than comfortable though and warm.

    • R

      Rachel

      TravelerWritten June 2025

We are a couple and would like to be in one swag please.

    • Untamed EscapesOperatorWritten June 2025

We will not be able to provide one for that journey then, just the single swags. Many couples come on our tours and have no issues when it comes to the single swags, it truly is a classic Aussie experience to sleep in them.

    Asked on May 19th, 2025

Can we book tent instead of swag? We can share a tent

    Accommodation
    • Untamed EscapesOperatorWritten May 2025

Our tours are set up for swags. Although daunting for some at first, after the first night people are more than happy sleeping in them. We use safe campsites and your guide will be sleeping in one the whole time as well. If still not sure, we can look into a double swag, which has slightly more tent like properties (it is a bit more covered). Ordinarily we do not offer these on this trip, but if possible it would be $300 for the journey.
