- KNKarli· December 13th, 2025This tour is a great way to hit many of Egypt's Wonders. The cruise part is essentially your floating hotel. Our boat was the Blue Shadow 4 where the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was good if a bit predictable after several days. Domestic flights were quick and airport transit wasn't too difficult. Our guide for the sites was Ashraf who was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about each of the sites as well as Egyptian history, culture, and anything else about Egypt that you could think to ask. He was also an experienced guide who knew the ins and outs of moving through each site to give the group the best experience. Be aware that this tour keeps you very busy and some excursions, especially the add-ons have early starts and some late lunches (take snacks if traveling with teens). I don’t think it was too fast, but some of the drives are a bit long. Many locations have many steps and uneven ground which may be difficult for some travelers as you would expect at these ancient sites. I would recommend this tour and all of the add-ons that we booked except Abu Simbel - just because the place was packed and very much lacked any crowd management making it unsafe for anyone who relies on a cane for stability. This really is an excellent way to pack a lot in to a short trip and come away feeling like you have seen the Egyptian highlights.Show more

The Nile cruise will be M/S Princess Sarah or M/S Reinassance or M/S Radamis or similar. The cruise is a 5 Star Standard Nile cruise (Full-Board Meals Included). All cabins have a private bathroom, air-conditioned and have a large panoramic ultra violet window. There are on the cruise a swimming pool, Gymnasium, Laundry service, Bar, SPA and restaurant.

I understand that the Deposit consist of 30% of tour price + cancellation insurance cost. I would like to know 1. the cancellation insurance costs 2. should there be a cancellation beyond the 22 days from departure, other than the return of the 30% deposit, will the insurance costs be returned as well?

Deposit: A deposit of 30% of the tour price plus full payment of Insurance (cancellation insurance) is required at the time of booking. Final Payment: The balance of payment is due 45 days prior to departure, immediately if booked within the 45 days of departure. If final payment is not paid by the required time Beyond the Nile Tours has the right to cancel the booking and keep the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations: Up to 22 days prior to departure loss of deposit, 15-21 days prior to departure 50%, Within 14 days prior to departure 100%. Regarding insurance, you should contact tourradar as it is do not provided by us (Beyond the Nile tours).
