My team is traveling to Kampala for work for two weeks. We are looking to do a Gorilla trek on our free weekend. We could either do 8-10 December 2023 or 9-11 December. There are 4 of us traveling, but depending on budget, we may only be 2 people. Could you provide a quote for either 2 people or 4 people? Also, could you provide quotes for traveling from Kampala by car and by airplane to Kihihi?

GORILLA AND CHIMPANZEE PERMITS: The Uganda Wildlife Authority imposes strict regulations regarding the gorilla trekking permits. One of these is that permits must be booked and paid in advance. Like your deposit, the permit money is not refundable if you cancel your tour. On rare occasions, subject to permit availability, we may purchase trekking permits to view the gorillas in neighbouring Rwanda.

  A flight at 6.45pm on 20 Nov is too early. Check-in in Africa is usually 3 hours beforehand and it can take an hour to get to the airport from downtown Kampala, so it would really mean being packed and ready to go mid afternoon. We wont be back by then. I was thinking of a late evening flight 1130pm or so. Otherwise I'd suggest staying overnight and flying out the 21st.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 3rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of $300 is required to confirm your booking with Acacia Adventure Holidays. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 61 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
