Waited for pick up at 0630, hotel manager rang, guide and driver on way, phone call half hour later, no tour, cannot find driver or guide??? Went to Fez office, no real answer for me, I had ongoing bookings, so they made a 3 day itinerary. Stay in Istanbul another 2 nights at my hotel, not 4 star, go on day trip to Gallipoli, return to Istanbul. No lunch or dinner 1st day, no breakfast or dinner next day. Collected 2nd day at 0400hrs, flight to Izmer, transfer to Temple of Aetemenis, which was finished when I arrived. Ephesus tour, lunch and dinner, 4 star hotel. Final day to Pamukkale, tour lunch and free transfer to Denzili.Show more

A good tour that gives you a very good feeling for Western Turkey. Ephesus, Pumukkale and Pergamon were particular highlights - but you do have to like ruins to get a lot out of the tour. And while we stopped at carpet, leather and pottery factories, they were all interesting and they aren't too annoying if you're able to resist the sales pitch. The pottery place was the exception - they were fabulous and did not pressure us at all - and of course this was the only place that we bought anything. One word of warning - it seems that the last day of the tour is a long drive with almost no sights, to get back to Istanbul. It is therefore recommended that you get a flight from the airport near Pumukkale for a flight back to Istanbul and miss the final day. For the cost of the flight and taxis you can get a whole extra day in Istanbul. Ibrahim our guide was excellent and really helpful in organising taxis etc. Would definitely recommendShow more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 11th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 11th, 2026, a minimum payment of $250 is required to confirm your booking with Fez Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
