He was always keen on knowing what everyone wanted to do and if he could organise any extra activities outside of an already jammed packed awesome itinerary. He has a great sense of humour and is very cheeky but professional at the same time. He would always listen if we had any inquiries about day to day things in Turkey and would give the best local knowledge. Not to mention, his english is impeccable. Metin didn't just feel like our tour guide, he felt like a friend and one that was looking out for you. He really makes the trip. Thanks Metin!

This tour is a really good way to see a large amount of turkey and get to places that would be difficult to get to if you weren’t on a tour. From Gallipoli to Ancient ruins to turkish baths to sailing…This tour is a really good way to see a large amount of turkey and get to places that would be difficult to get to if you weren’t on a tour. From Gallipoli to Ancient ruins to turkish baths to sailing to paragliding in Kas and hot air ballooning in Cappadocia and delicious Turkish cuisine. This is a tour that has something included for everyone. And you can make it what you want with a lot of extra options available. Metin was amazing as English isn’t as widely spoken as the rest of Europe so we had a lot of traditional authentic Turkish food experiences which Metin was able to translate into English and all the food options and his recommendations. He also went over and beyond for us with recommending things we could do with our free time and helping the girls on our tour who were doing more travel around turkey with their intineraries. I absolutely loved Turkey and will return and do the week sail!

He is very approachable, knowledgeable and passionate about Turkey -nothing is ever too much trouble. If there is something you want to see or do, Metin always does his best to accommodate and organise it if he can. He is organised yet relaxed in his approach which creates a nice atmosphere amongst the group.
I would recommend anyone thinking of coming to Turkey to join one of Metin’s tours.

Overall the tour was amazing. I did many things I wouldn't have done alone. The first half of the trip was visiting the ancient structures. That was amazing. Metin was incredibly knowledgeable about a…Overall the tour was amazing. I did many things I wouldn't have done alone. The first half of the trip was visiting the ancient structures. That was amazing. Metin was incredibly knowledgeable about all the history of the region and made the information easy to understand and digest. The middle of the tour was the sailing trip. That was very special - waking up at dawn watching the sunrise, swimming reading relaxing it was amazing. Stopping in Kas was great too. It was super pretty. I paraglided in Kas so that was a bonus. Then the final stretch of the tour probably both my most and least favorite - most because we ended up in Cappadocia which was amazing! Again our tour guide organised everything so smoothly for us inlcuding our own hot air balloon and continued his characteristic awesomeness and facilitating everything we needed. My least favourite thing was how long the drives were. 3 and 4 hour drives were the norm and while the bus is biggish it's not pleasant being on it for so long! I ended up spending an extra $100 to fly from Cappadocia to Istanbul otherwise it would have been a 14 hour bus trip! No thank you.. Overall i would recommend this trip for sure for sure. It was a great mix of history, discovery and fun. The food stops were always different and traditional - ie not just random fast food/kebabs. Great job busabout! Thank you so much again Metin!!

Metin made it safe for us because he could translate for us and tell us where to eat and drink and I had the trip of a life time. He was not only terrificing in guiding us in what to do but his knowledge about Turkey and it’s hirstory was extremely impressive. He answered all of our questions and was genuinely interested and keen to express all that he knew. I have learnt so much in so little time. Although Metin aced this, he also exceeded expectations when it came to organisation. He ensured that our group stayed organised and on time which must be tricky with a big bunch of young adults. Whilst doing so, he always ensured we were safe. If anything happened where we felt uneasy, Metin was there in a flash and settled out worries. He always looked out for us and our safety and we truly felt like he would do anything to protect us. Although he acted with utmost professionalism, Our group created s strong friendship with Metin due to his great personality and hilarious sense of humour.
This tour included many chances to partake in activities of which were very enjoyable. Every day there was something to look forward to. At the beginning of the tour, we all questioned - how does it get better than this? But to our surprise, it always got better.
Throughout the tour we were able to visit some very special ruins, sleep on a yacht, visit old war zones in Gallipoli, swim in calcium baths whilst watching the sun set, go to a highly interactive/entertaining belly dancing show and go hot air ballooning. There were continuous memorable moments. These were some memories I will never forget and will forever cherish.
Thank you to bus about, but most of all thank you to Metin, who made all of this and 10/10 experience :)

Turkey as a country is nothing like I pictured the scenery, the history, the people were absolutely fantastic and Metin as a tour guide was exceptional, couldn’t ask for a better…The tour was amazing! Just recently finished the 15day Busabout turkey tour with tour guide Metin. Really could not recommend this entire experience enough and not to mention Metin, I could not rate him any higher as a tou…Just recently finished the 15day Busabout turkey tour with tour guide Metin. Really could not recommend this entire experience enough and not to mention Metin, I could not rate him any higher as a tour guide. He was so knowledgeable on all areas of the trip, a history wizz, kind and fair and of course fun to have around and laugh with. He really was the core of the group and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time - for example went out of his way to organise the private basket for Cappadocia hot airballooning and got up at 4am to wave us off, also spent his day off in Kas organising a little boat trip that we wanted to go on. All the activities were so worthwhile and the itinerary worked really well throughout. While the first half of the trip was busy, it was still amazing, filled with historical sites and landmarks. Two big highlights have to be the hot airballooning in Cappadocia and the calcium baths in Pamukkale. While the itinerary itself was amazing, it was even better with the help and presence of Metin! Tempted to go again it was so good.....

When I met Metin, I was beyond impressed. He is the most genuine person and an amazing guide. He goes above and beyond his job expectations. Assisting you with any issues you have, e.g purchasing a SIM card, translating with locals, organising extra inclusions of the trip if there’s free time, e.g providing clear info about public transportation, organising a taxi, or booking you a day in a Turkish spa.
I would recommend Metin to any of my friends and family. He made my experience of Turkey fantastic, I love the country.
The only issue I had with the tour of the accommodation at Sultan Hostel in Istanbul. I would advise not staying there, particularly on the first night before meeting your group and Metin. Much worth booking a more expensive hotel on the same road just so you can get a decent sleep.
The first half of the tour is great for those that love history and enjoy seeing the ancient ruins. Metin is well educated with a four year degree behind him, he has no issues answering any questions you have or providing clear information.
My favourite places were Kas and Cappadocia.

TIME OF MY LIFE! From start to finish this tour was incredible, I am so happy that I chose the full tour rather then the seperate half tours that are available The accommodation was fantastic through…TIME OF MY LIFE! From start to finish this tour was incredible, I am so happy that I chose the full tour rather then the seperate half tours that are available The accommodation was fantastic throughout the entire tour (especially the cave hotel in Cappadocia!) and the food even better! All of the day tours to the archaeological sites, in particular the morning spent walking Anzac Cove and the Lone Pine memorial is a must do for any Australian or history buff. The 3 day turkey sailing was so beautiful, and a much needed break from the hustle and bustle of the usual tour routine! I would highly recommend doing the optional activities wherever posssible- the paragliding in Kas was one of the most memorable experiences for the entire tour! But the best part of the tour by far was our guide Metin- he was so knowledgeable about each site visited and him being a local meant that we always visited the most authentic food/bar places and made us feel like we got to experience apart of Turkey that most tourists never get to see. Hands down the best tour out of my 12 week backpacking trip. Thanks to the Busabout crew for all the amazing memories!!

Took the 18 day Flying Carpet Tour. Suggestions: Stop doing 2 days in cities where there is no sites of Interest.

Fethyie- Stop using the hotel we were put into. No body else was at the hotel the weekend we were there. Hotel is too far from the places were food is available. Restrauant was closed in the hotel Noise of Boat yard was there. Rooms had a fetid smell.
Boat Ride & mud Bath. THE cost was astronomical. We only wanted the Mud bath. Had to pay also for the boat ride into reeds & weeds. Cost should have been 20 Tliras as advertised at the Mud bath not 110 Euros as charged by Fez travel with no option only for Mud Bath.
Guides were excellent. Hotels were average. Hotel in Istanbul. Sireki Lodge needs an upgrade. Room did not have table besides bed suggest use the Hilton next door. Cagman went out of his way with concern when one of the party had Covid. Offered to arrange a Covid Test at 10:30 pm in our hotel. Which we did not accept as we were well.
Organization was excellent, all vehicles and guides on time. Guides explained the places well.
Eliminate Konya from your program, we finished visiting the site in 15 minutes. Long distance to travel for 15 minutes. Make stops where there are more historic, cultural sites of interest, Museusms etc
2 or 3 other places had 2 day stay. Reduce it to 1 day stay only.
We do not travel to stay in places like Fethyie where there is nothing of interest to visit. Rest can be done in our homes

Our tour guide Goksu was personable, available, and a wealth of knowledge. Our driver was professional and helpful. They really looked out for our safety and happiness. Even though there were sites that were unavailable due to the pandemic, i don't feel like i missed anything. They are THE tour company to use if your considering a tour of Turkey. Great job everyone!

Originally there were eight of us booked on the trip however the other seven pulled out last minute. The tour however went ahead and I was the only passenger with a guide and a driver all to myself. For a 10 day guided tour! Both my guide Ibrahim and my driver Murat were amazing and displayed as much care and enthusiasm as if we were a full group, maybe even more. These two men absolutely added to my experience showing me much care and attention over the duration of the tour, they both really are assets to your business.
The content of the tour was also fabulous and complimented the personal service I received. I have come away with some with having seen some wonderful sights, made some wonderful memories and developed an understanding of Turkey’s people, culture and history.
A memorable trip and one that I will not forget but will remember fondly.
Overall, the tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Metin was knowledgable friendly and considerate. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. The hotels and Food were great.

Transport was comfortable however the flight from Istanbul to Izmir seemed unnecessary. Comsider we were waiting for the bus other the other side and it was at peak traffic so we ended up waiting. It makes more sense if we were taking flights for the long distance drive instead. Despite that, the driver was polite and kept everything nice and clean for us.
Accommodation was average in general as they are located in the middle of nowhere. One of the accommodation had no hot water for two days although there was a nice view. Some accommodations had very limited food choice and not fresh at all.

In the beginning, it’s a lot of ruins and educational things but Metin is a great guide and gives us a perfect amount of free time at each site. We also visit sites at the perfect times (the Pamukkale baths in the afternoon when It’s not too hot and they’re filled with water). The sail is the perfect 3 day break and super relaxing and a great time to bond with the group. The restaurants were taken to are also amazing and very affordable. Metin was also great at suggestions for going out and taking us to fun, local bars. The hot air balloons and Turkish night in Cappadocia are also super fun and very worth it!
