  Firstly I must say that I agree with the previous review left by Moira. My husband and I were actually on a group Easymade Turkey Tour. For our time in Istanbul we had the wonderful Can as our guide. He really cares about his guests and goes out of his way to give the best experience. We then became part of another group for the rest of our excellent tour. Our guide Goksu was very good, professional and looked after us very well but didn't join in socially with meals, photos etc. The extra Cappadocia balloon experience was amazing and is a must! We made friends in both groups and are planning to catch up with some in Canada and hopefully others in the UK next year. I want to thank the drivers as well who drove many hundreds of miles very safely.

  This was a really great tour. Our guide Can was brilliant. Very well organised. He was Turkish so knew so much information and tips. We were always in the right place at the right time and avoided crowds all the time. Our driver Cengiz was also fantastic, very safe and careful.

  Fez Magic Carpet Travel with Mr. Goku Pamir was an amazing experience. He was professional, knowledgeable and understanding. Our group was able to add some places, thanks to him arranging it for us and adding a boat and House of Mother Mary for us. We even saw mulana Rumi's place and learned about Sufi dance , which is the best. He surprised our group with 4D theatre at the library of Celsius and showed us original Carpet, Silk, and Leather makers. Overall, it was a wonderful experience because he stopped at the best food places for breaks frequently and even gave us a small keychain as a reminder gift or souvenir besides the gifts Fez gives us. Fez travels offers wifi and charging ports in their bus which is a life saver. Hotels and places visited were all beautiful and I recommend visiting Turkeye with Mr. Goksu Pamir. Thanks.

  Fez Magic Carpet Tour was Wonderful experience with our guide Mr. Goku Pamir. He is very knowledgeable and took us to some of the things our group decided suddenly like boat and House of Mother Mary with everyone's consent. He even gave us a small keychain gift besides all the gift pack Fez gives to travellers which is very nice of him. His tour to Selcuk and other places for Original leather, Silk and Carpet makers was an excellent one. He surprised us with 4D theater tickets at the at the Celsius Library. Lastly, the Sufi culture and Mulana Rumi's place was the best. I would recommend him as a guide as he takes care of travellers by frequently stopping for food breaks at best places during travel and arranging everything for us ahead of time. Overall, Mr. Goksu was very understanding, professional, and knowledgeable in every aspect for the travelled places in terms of population, geography, food produced and history /art of the place, which benefitted all of us.   The selection of Nidya Galataport is a bad choice. The hotel is outdated and most things are not functional. The seats in the minibus were cramped and worse than a budget airline. We could not even stretch our legs. The last phase of the trip involved sitting in the bus most of the day. At the end of the trip, we had cramped legs. The bus is at best only good for a ciry trip. This is the first ever trip, where we were not given bottled water in the bus. Each day started at 8 a.m.. We spent precious cool mornings inside shops and got roasted as we were taken to visit places. Schedule shopping to noon or after lunch.

  Fez Travel packed in lots of sights and things to see and do. I liked the variety in our stops and sights. Well planned except for the last couple of days. Somehow, they need to be tweaked so there are not so many unreasonable night departures. I would have rather paid a bit more and had the meals ordered when we sat down. Buffet meals were luke warm, over cooked, and meats were so dry from heating for long periods. The meals we sat down and was served were much better, tastier, better variety of foods.

  A fantastic experience of beautiful places in Turkey with Fez Travel. We were so lucky to find out that we had the tour as a "private" tour as we were the only guests that booked during the time we wanted to have it, yet Fez Travel didn't cancel the tour. The hotels for our stay during our tour were great, all breakfast were included ( all had a great selection of food ), and most dinners were included ( except a few days when we were in Istanbul). I'd like to mention 2 special people who made our tour so magical & enjoyable: Tamer ( our guide ) and Hakan ( our driver). They both looked after us so well. Tamer is a great tour guide, very knowledgeable, friendly & welcoming, and managed the itinerary & time very well, yet gave us some free time/ flexibility to explore on our own. I definitely recommend this 10 day Magic Carpet tour with Fez Travel to experience the amazing landscape of Turkey and the hospitality of its people. Erni

  I recently went on the 10 day Magic Carpet Tour and everything was excellent. Our guide Tamir, was very knowledgeable and always considered our needs. Our driver, Harcan, drove well and got us to our destinations safely. Both were very experienced in the travel industry. Hotels selected for the tour were all excellent. The cave hotel in Capadosia was unbelievablely luxurious. We also enjoyed the hotel at Pamukale which had a number of thermal pools. The tour also included breakfast which was always the choice of a great variety of foods. Dinners were also great and a good introduction to Turkish cuisine. The route of the tour included Istanbul major archaeological sites on the west coast, Pamukale and Capadosia. All were very interesting and Tamers explanations were always informative. I would highly recommend this tour. It was an amazing 10 days.

  First and foremost, our guide, Ilke Ceren Ses, was just outstanding. She was unbelievably knowledgeable about history, culture and politics; she was very friendly, kind, enthusiastic and helpful; and she bent over backwards to help each of us with any problems we encountered with food, communication and arrangements for special excursions. On the first day, I twisted my ankle and it could have ruined my trip - but she found some ice right away, and had me sit and rest the ankle, and by the next day it was fine. She is a gem. It was my first experience with a guided tour, and the experience has encouraged me to try a tour again. The one thing I didn't like was the amount of time we had to spend sitting in a van. I'm not sure how you could change the geography of the tour to avoid so much travel, though. It would also be nice to stay in one city for more days so we didn't have to pack up and reload the van every morning. Also: please consider giving tour participants a more thorough itinerary. There were a number of stops on the tour that weren't on the printed itinerary, and it would be extremely helpful to know what to expect (i.e. should we bring money along if we are going to shop at a jewelry store) and how long (approximately) we would be walking around in the hot sun at each site, so we could know if we should carry water, hat, etc or if we should leave them in the van. For an older person like myself, that info is really important. Thank you.

  Saw some amazing sites but a number of issues marred the tour as a whole. On not one but two occasions we were put in inferior hotels to those paid for. After complaining we did receive some compensation from Fez but the experience had already been spoilt. Our guide was a lovely man but his "guide skills" were too relaxed. A guide should bring a country and it's people to life and make every day an adventure. We missed seeing two large mosques in Istanbul as they were closed when we arrived at them. He didn't give us enough information about each day's itinerary nor about many of the sites we were seeing. Our lunchtime stops were at basically roadside service stations, no quaint Turkish cafe restaurants. evening meals were always at the hotel and although food was good enough it was more International than Turkish in many cases. I've never felt the need to complain before but sadly I really cannot recommend Fez Travels.
