The price listed is for shared accommodation. If you prefer a private room, you can request one starting at €1,050 for this trip. A moderate level of fitness is recommended for this trip. While the step up into the overland truck is not too high, it can be repetitive. You should feel comfortable enough to climb in and out of the truck at least 8-10 times a day.

This 10-day trip through Botswana was better than expected. Now have lots more photographs of animals in the wild than I'd expected to get. To see such a large group of hippos in the water and to have lions walk by casually were much more than I'd seen in Kruger Park. Some of the travel by road was taking a lot of time and accommodation on the houseboat was a bit cramped. But in the end that was part of the fun as a way of meeting up with others who felt the same way.Show more

We were lucky with our small group of six and had plenty of room in our truck. There were long drives of six to eight hours to get to the next town but we were prepared for this. Food & accommodation were good and the crew were good. The driver was abit mean & rude and butted in where he wasnt welcome. That was the only negative on my Adventure in Africa.Show more

Changes to the itinerary that Intrepid's decision, not the leader's or driver's, were not notified by email to me (my travel agent was also on holiday). Entry Fee to Victoria Falls should have been included, as should the dinner at Maun. Innocent only found out because he rang the office. As we were trying to budget and manage our money, this was awkward for Innocent because we were frustrated.
