On the explanation of each days adventures you always have a alphanumerical letter or two listed. What does this mean?

On some of the days there are optional excursions which can be pre purchased. The approx. cost of these are indicated by a Pound sign (£) to represent the approx. Cost. The most reasonable ones will just have 1 £, and the most expensive one will have 3 £££.

Can you accommodate travelers with disabilities?

Please inform us of any disabilities and we will make necessary arrangements to accommodate them on the tour.

How much freedom do we have to go hiking/exploring on our own? I see one day in the itinerary that leaves us to do as we please. We're concerned this trip would be a whole lot of riding/sitting/herding, and not enough walking/hiking.

Great sights but not without added anxiety. I had saved hard for three years for this once in a lifetime trip. Although the trip allowed me to see many amazing places I felt it was overpriced for what was received. Firstly I paid more as I was a solo traveller so I had to pay a singles supplement. As I have a bad back and still recovering from an injury I had confirmed with Cosmos if I would have help with my case. I was informed the bus driver snd tour guide woukd gelp lift in and out of the bus as, I had later discovered travellers were required to take thier own case too and from hotel and bus. At no point were we infomrwd of the amount of stairs at each hotel which created alot of added stress and anxiety (not something i wss expecting during my well planned and costly trip). The hotels were okay with some being terrible. One of the main highlights of the tour (thsts mentioned in the tour name) the 'Glacier Express' had been moved to a different day at 7pm in the dark (pointless) as it seems someone didnt book our group. (I booked and paid for the tour 12mths in advance so to be told that the trsin was to full that day was s disgrace). Not alot of communication on day to day running of the tour so never knew what to wear or bring etc. The fact that there were 40 odd other people on the trip that were experiencing the same made it more bareable and met some great people along the way. The places visited were stunning. Would definitely consider a different tour company in the future.Show more
