How strict is the age range? I'm 44

It is strict as the tours have been made for travellers between the ages of 18-39. I would recommend taking a look at any of our tours in the classic range as these do not have any age restrictions.

I overall had a good time but there where parts of the trip I wished it was over as my guide was not friendly or professional. I felt that he was going through issues in life and taking it out on all of us. I also felt that he was very hard to talk to and made people feel like a target of his bullying behavior. I felt that his small minded racist views should have been kept to himself as I found the racist comments he made where beyond shocking and irritating. As we had 3 white south african tour guides it was clear to me that racism is still very alive in Africa. An another note, I enjoyed when we had local tour guides in Zanzibar and Serengeti. The local Tanzanians where very friendly and wonderful tour guides. The people on my tour group where a strange mix of people which I did not enjoy to be around very much, there was a lot of intergroup challenges and drama. I would book another G adventures as I know that G can't control who joins your group. I just feel that our tour guides attitude needs to be improved and refined greatly or that he should look for another job as he does not seem to posses people or leadership skills. The tour is long hard drives with bumpy roads and no air con. Be prepared to rough it with tents and long drives… overall though the trip was worth it as I had a great time and was able to try my best to look at the positives of my trip and not dwell on our tour guide and co travelers negative attitudes.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 29th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 29th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
