How do I get back from Livingstone to Johannesburg?

There are many different options of how to travel between Livingstone to Johannesburg as there are flights (usually 2 a day). There is a possibility to travel by bus if you have time. You can take the bus from Johanesburg to Bulawayo. From there, there are buses to Victoria Falls, or the night train (from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, you can cross by food to Livingston, Zambia. ) However, transport in Zimbabwe is not really reliable. Another option would be to go through Botswana - this is longer, but maybe a little more comfortable. The ride through Botswana is really long, but it's a little bit more reliable there. There are also some private transfer options that you can find on the internet.

The accommodations are all good and clean, especially excellent were the two nights in the Sunset Lodge, which was absolutely top from the location and the food. Here, with a bit of luck, you can sit around the campfire while the animals walk by a few meters away from you. If you want to see a lot of animals, you will also get your money's worth during the visit to Kruger Park. We would recommend the trip without reservation.Show more
