  The absolute pinnacle of the entire Egypt Tour Pro journey was Abu Simbel. The early morning drive is long but they provide a box breakfast and you sleep a bit. Nothing prepares you for rounding that corner and seeing the colossal statues carved into the mountain. It is monumental in the truest sense. The story of moving the entire temple to save it from the lake is a modern miracle. Inside the detail is staggering. The scale and ambition of Ramses II is clear. This site alone justifies the trip. The atmosphere is one of pure awe. The crowd size was fine we arrived early. The Egypt Tour Pro staff ensured we had the best lighting for photos. The admission is included. The length of the visit about two hours was sufficient to explore thoroughly. This experience is best for everyone it is a world heritage icon.   I have to be honest I was a bit nervous about booking a five day trip online but Egypt Tour Pro made everything incredibly smooth from the start. Our guide met us right at Luxor airport and the transfer to the cruise ship was seamless. The ship itself was a fantastic surprise. It was clean modern and our cabin had a perfect balcony view. The first day on the east bank was overwhelming in the best way. Karnak Temple is not just a site it is an entire city of stone. I remember standing in the hypostyle hall looking up at those massive columns and just feeling tiny. Our Egypt Tour Pro guide explained the history behind each pharaohs addition which made it come alive. Later Luxor Temple at night was magical completely different atmosphere with the lighting. The schedule was full but never felt rushed. We always had time to take photos and soak it in. Lunch back on the ship was a welcome break with great variety. The staff on board were always smiling and ready to help. The overall atmosphere was one of relaxed discovery. The crowd size was manageable we never felt packed in like sardines. The admission fees for all the sites were included which is a huge weight off your mind. The length of visit at each spot felt just right. This experience is best for couples or friends who want a deep dive into history without the logistics headache. A short story from that first day At Karnak our guide pointed out a hidden graffito from an ancient Greek soldier. It was a simple carving of a name and a date over two thousand years old. That connection across time with another traveler just standing where he stood was unexpectedly powerful. It set the tone for the whole trip.Show more
