After that, you'll travel through forested areas and past lakes on your way to Orebro, a historic town sitting on a lake with a castle and old town worth exploring. From there, continue to Stockholm, pulling in around evening.

Stockholm

Travel south to Helsingborg on the coast, then take the ferry across to Helsingor in Denmark in the early afternoon. Walk around Helsinor, known as Hamlet's hometown, and check out the impressive Kronborg Castle. Later, head on to Copenhagen, arriving as evening sets in.

Leave early and head to the Moravia region to visit Lednice, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with beautiful gardens and a notable castle. Cross into Slovakia and stop in Gyor, a city known for its four rivers, where you'll have time for lunch and a walk around. Later, continue to Budapest, arriving mid-afternoon. In the evening, you'll head to a pedestrian area with traditional restaurants and live music.
