Split
You'll get picked up from Split Airport and head to your hotel. Before the 6 pm welcome meeting, if your flight gets in early, the Mestrovic Gallery is worth checking out to see work by one of Croatia's greatest sculptors. After everyone gathers for the meeting, you'll join the group for dinner at a local restaurant where you can try brudet and rozata, two popular local specialties.

Split
This morning brings a guided walk through Split's historic streets with a licensed heritage interpreter leading the way. The afternoon opens up for exploring on your own—hunt down a seaside restaurant with coastal views or settle onto your hotel's terrace or garden.

Split to Korcula
A morning ferry takes you to Korcula, arriving in the afternoon. From there, a local guide walks you through Korcula Town and shares the island's history. After that, you can head to hidden beaches like Vela Przina or Proizd, wander through the Old City with its distinctive orange-topped buildings, or explore the local wine culture among olive groves.

- Day 4
Korcula
You'll join a half-day tour of Korcula's history and quieter areas that benefit the local community, stopping at viewpoints throughout. In Vela Luka, there's a mosaic-making project where you'll learn techniques and create your own piece. Then it's over to Blato village for lunch and wine tasting at a family-run winery in the hills. You're back in Korcula Town by afternoon with the rest of the day free to do as you like.

Korcula
The day is yours to spend however you'd like in Korcula. You might relax at one of the hidden beaches and swim in the bay, visit a local winery to support the community over local cuisine and wine, or keep exploring the Old Town. By evening, check out the Revelin Tower and the impressive defensive walls before choosing where to have dinner from the island's many restaurants.

Korcula to Dubrovnik
You're heading toward Dubrovnik today with a stop in Trsteno, just 20 km away. There's a brunch of local farm products prepared by a local family and presented by Croatian chef Katija Paseta, plus an olive oil tasting (local olive oil makes a good souvenir to bring home). You'll walk through the 15th-century arboretum, Croatia's only one and a major garden architecture monument that served as a Game of Thrones filming location. After taking in the Elaphiti Islands and Adriatic Sea views, you'll continue to Dubrovnik's medieval walls with a free evening to find your dinner spot.

Dubrovnik
Spend the day exploring Dubrovnik at your own pace. You could visit Rector's Palace to see Venetian-Gothic architecture, relax with a beer on cliff-side terraces, take a Game of Thrones walking tour, or watch people and have espresso. Tonight brings a sunset sail on a private boat to the Elafiti Islands during golden hour. You'll stop at Lopud fisherman's village, share trip highlights over a farewell dinner of local cuisine, then sail back to Dubrovnik to see the Old Town at sunset while toasting with local wine.

You'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Dubrovnik. If you arrive before the 6 pm welcome meeting, the medieval Old Town is walkable and close by where you can visit the 15th-century Rector's Palace, baroque churches, or Game of Thrones filming locations. After the meeting, the group heads out for dinner at a local Old Town restaurant to try traditional Croatian cuisine.

Dubrovnik to Kotor
Leaving Dubrovnik, you're heading to Kotor, a 5th-century UNESCO World Heritage site on a secluded bay. The route crosses from Croatia into Montenegro with a stop in Perast for a walk and coffee. Then you'll board a boat to explore the scenic Bay of Kotor from the water, visiting the Lady of Skrpjela island, created in 1452 around a rock where an image of the Madonna was found. Back on land, your leader walks you through Kotor's Old Town discovering cobblestone alleyways and charming stone buildings before checking into your hotel for a free evening.

- Day 10
Kotor to Cetinje
After breakfast, you're heading to the mountainous town of Cetinje outside Kotor and stopping at Lovcen National Park for beautiful landscapes and trails. If stairs don't bother you, climbing to Njegos Mausoleum at 1647 m/5403 ft gives you panoramic mountain views that can reach as far as Albania on clear days. The mausoleum, built in 1974, houses a monument to poet and ruler Petar II Petrovic-Njegos. You'll then explore Cetinje Monastery to learn its history and see Orthodox Christian relics including the right hand of St. John the Baptist. Try local prosciutto and cheese in Njegusi, known for meat, cheese and honey. Back in Kotor, the afternoon is free so you can climb the city walls for views over the city and bay.

Kotor to Berat
You're crossing the border into Albania early, with a long journey ahead but several stops along the way. There's a wine tasting at a winery in Fishte to learn about local wines in the Albanian countryside. Next comes a farm-to-table lunch with local produce, wild fish, and organic meat, all prepared on-site. You'll arrive in Berat in time for group lunch, then your late afternoon and evening are free to explore at your own pace.

Berat
A local guide leads you on a walk around Berat to learn about the city's history and highlights. Later you'll head to the village of Gjirokaster to learn how to make traditional Albanian food with locals in a garden, helping prepare meals and then enjoying the flavors of Albania over conversation with your hosts.

You'll visit the Monasteries of the Drino Valley set against a mountain backdrop, 16th and 17th-century Orthodox monasteries that were vital to Albania's social fabric and culture. The rest of the day is free—try sweet treats in the old town, explore the Cold War tunnel, or relax in a park with a book.

You're wrapping up your Albanian Riviera time and heading to Tirana, the capital. On the way, stop at the ancient Greek site of Apollonia for a leader-led exploration through well-preserved ruins including a theatre, temples, and a triumphal arch. Continue to Tirana for a guided tour learning about its unique blend of cultures and customs, with mosques, citadels, Ottoman architecture, and the medieval atmosphere of the Balkans. The compact city is ideal to explore on foot and filled with architectural influences from Italy and Turkey.
