I am interested in the Active West Coast Canada trip. It is described as high intensity. Please give more details. Are the walks hilly? How far? Average age group? I can view only one review. I am a regular walker and enjoy 10 mile walks. I slow down in hilly terrain but otherwise I walk at a good pace.

This is a demanding trip. You will be hiking for 4-7 hours a day, terrain will vary but there will be steep inclines at times. As long as you are fit and active and walk/hike regularly you will be absolutely fine. If you have a date in mind we can advise on the age group already booked as this will vary from one departure to the next.

Is camping gear provided? Is camp set up for us? Length of hikes each day/location? Level of hikes ? Easy/moderate etc.

Tents and sleeping mats will be provided for this tour. You will be required to bring your own sleeping bag. Travellers will be required to set up their own tents at each campsite. The tents we use are very simple to set up and the tour leader will give a demonstration on the first day of camping to show how it's done. They can be set up and taken down in less than 5 minutes. The hikes included in this tour are rated as 4/5 which we classify as Demanding - Some high-altitude hikes or more strenuous activities, but accessible to most healthy travellers.

Do you have vegetarian meal options for the trip? Eggs and dairy are fine, but no meat, chicken, or sea food.

I have a question about the accomodation. How many persons pr. tent? What kind of madress and sleeping equipment is provided?

We put 2 travellers in a tent and they are 3-person sized tents so quite spacious. Sleeping pads are provided for added comfort but you will need to bring your own sleeping bags. We recommend a 4 season one as nights can get quite cold.

I got to go places I never would have known about if I had gone independently and got to meet lots of great people from all over the world. The tour guide was great! Very considerate of everyone in the group and happy to share his knowledge about the areas we visited.
