- 7 Day Vancouver Island Camping Adventure
I just finished the 8-day Vancouver Island camping tour and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Every day brought new surprises and wonderful places to discover and it really felt like our tour guide Alex was passionate about showing off some hidden gems of the area. He was so friendly and accommodating, and did an amazing job ensuring everyone was having a good time. The food was an extra bonus - no hamburgs and hotdogs on this tour! I left on the last day sad to end the tour and can't wait to return again for another adventure.
- 7 Day Vancouver Island Camping Adventure
We booked 8 day hiking tour of the Vancouver island with Fresh Adventures. It was my first camping and multiday hiking trip. For something to be memorable, it has to be just a tad harder than everyday experience. This trip provided just that. Alex provided lessons to anyone who wanted to learn (setting up tents, climbing a small rock wall, cooking, learning to recognize wild berries and tree species, best way to deal with bears, island history). At the same time Alex always had back-up plans for anyone who needed a different activity. I enjoyed every minute of it and look forward to coming back.
- 7 Day Vancouver Island Camping Adventure
We just returned from the 8 day camping trip on Vancouver Island with Fresh Adventures. Great food, scenery, camp sites, wild life and travel mates. Even the weather cooperated. We visited wonderful places and did some great hikes. Alex is a super guide and so passionate and knowledgeable about the Island. Everything was very organized and we returned home with many great memories and photos. Would definitely recommend it to others.

"This tour was great for a solo traveller looking to explore new places as part of a group. I got to go places I never would have known about if I had gone independently and got to meet lots of great people from all over the world. The tour guide was great! Very considerate of everyone in the group and happy to share his knowledge about the areas we visited. He put in a lot of time and effort to ensure the meals were high quality and healthy and encouraged everyone to take part in helping out. It was a great experience and I?m so glad I went.

"The trip was absolutely perfect! Our tour guides Louis and Corinne were kind, funny and just the best people overall. They organised the best trip, allowing us to see so much of the Island and they cooked up gourmet meals that I didn't think would be possible on a camping trip! They accommodated everyone's preferences on activities and took us to some amazing places and I had so much fun with everyone on the trip. I will definitely recommend this Vancouver island tour to all and any other fresh adventures tours because they were so helpful from the point of booking the tour to the end of the tour! Thanks a lot Fresh adventures!

"Great small group tour. There were 13 of us on a very comfortable small bus with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the views. Our guide, Olly, was truly amazing. Knowledgeable, calm and capable and ever-ready to be of assistance.

Demographics
Our 8-day Active West Coast Canada Discovery brings solo travelers together in the best possible way. The small group camping format naturally creates friendships while exploring Vancouver Island and Whistler's wilderness. You'll share kayak paddles in Cowichan Bay and tackle the Stawamus Chief trail with your new travel buddies. Our customers often tell us how they started as strangers but ended up as friends after conquering tough hikes and sharing stories around the campfire. The guides are really good at creating a welcoming vibe that makes everyone feel part of the group right from day one.
The 3-day Vancouver-Victoria tour works brilliantly for families - we've really nailed the balance of activities that keep both parents and kids interested. The ferry crossing usually turns into an impromptu whale-watching session, while Butchart Gardens gives energetic kids plenty of space to explore. We mix in some learning at the Legislative Assembly and Craigdarroch Castle, but our guides know how to make the history fun rather than dry. Parents particularly value our backup plan for rainy days - the BC Royal Museum and Miniature World have saved many family holidays when the weather hasn't cooperated.
