What people love about Eastern Canada Tours
- Newfoundland Adventure: Eastbound
This trip was a great way to see Newfoundland in a short period of time. We liked the small group size. Our guide, Simon was excellent. He was fun and flexible and very focused on our group. No complaints!
- Newfoundland Adventure: Eastbound
My Husband and I truly enjoyed the small group of 9 . Any more than this wouldn't have felt like a family. Our group gelled well. The van would not be big enough if more persons were in the group. Highly recommend NOT to have a larger group for other tours. Everyone was interested in everything we did and saw. Everyone was at the same level of ability and agility. Our Tour guide Simon was very flexible with options if weather wasn't in our favour. Would recommend Simon for other tours. He was very knowledgable on our Newfoundland tour.

You'll walk the narrow streets of Petit-Champlain, visit the grand Château Frontenac and take day trips to Montmorency Falls. Moving into rural Quebec, the routes cover the Charlevoix region, known for its whale watching in the St. Lawrence and artisanal food producers. Our travelers particularly like the small auberges we use - they're family-run spots with excellent local cooking. "The cities we saw were great. I would have enjoyed more time in Montreal and less time in Toronto. I did not like our accommodations in the Sepia Hotel in Quebec City. The room was nice but smelled musty or smoky and the floor was sticky. The shower floor was incredibly slippery and there were no hand rails for safety. Our guide,Marilyn, was great.

"Our guide was fabulous. I learned a lot from her. The bus we had was very noisy, it shimmied, and was difficult to control the temperature throughout the bus. I would have preferred to have paid more money for the lobster supper and had a more refined dining experience. It was too rushed so all our courses were just piling up on our small table. The chowder tasted like flour and water. Another meal (can’t remember at what stop) our lobster and crab rolls were just on cold hamburger buns. I enjoy a dining experience, but unfortunately that was non-existent.
