Hotel accommodations are included as well as breakfast on Day 3-6 and a continental breakfast on Day 7 & 8. You would be responsible for the other meals that are not included.

What are the cancellation fees if I cancel more than 30 days before departure? Would I be responsible for any charges other than the deposit? Is the deposit refundable?

The $250 CAD per person deposit is nonrefundable. The deposit is able to be transferred to another tour outside of 180 days of travel. Payments made before the penalty window will be refunded aside from the deposit. Payments made after the deposit are subject to penalty once the booking is within 30 days of travel and the cancellation terms are as follows: Up to 30 days before departure - You forfeit 50% of the tour cost 29 days before departure - You forfeit 80% of the tour cost 1 day before departure - You forfeit 100% of the tour cost

Airport transfers are not included. We recommend using Uber/Lyft or a local taxi service.

What's the additional $458 payment for?

The additional $473.68 is the local accommodation tax imposed by Canada. Please be advised it is subject to change until the booking has been confirmed.

What hotel are we staying at on August 8th? The itinerary says Hotel Halifax, but I heard it's under renovations.

We have you booked at the Atlantica Hotel Halifax for the nights in Halifax.

Most nights are at your leisure but there may be some optional excursions that can be purchased 90 days prior till departure to enjoy during that time. The time of day things will start is typically after breakfast however it is subject to change and can be confirmed once on tour.

You can arrive in time to meet the Tour Director between 3 and 6 PM on Day 1 of the tour. The tour ends in Halifax after breakfast on the last day, you will be able to arrange your flights to leave after breakfast.

Overall, the Canadian Maritime Adventure was very good. We had a great tour director and bus driver that made the trip very pleasant. We felt very welcomed by the kind Canadians and loved all the lobster dinners. Our trip included many great adventures and explorations including Hopewell Rocks, whale watching, Green Gables Heritage Place, Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, Fairview Lawn Cemetary (Titanic victims) and our favorite, Pegg's Cove Lighthouse. We felt some improvements could be made in the accommodations including Ceilidh County Lodge (worst place we have ever stayed in), the long bus rides and uncomfortable bus. We felt the price was reasonable for the trip, but airfare was very expensive. Also, only breakfast was included so you had to find lunch and dinner on your own which added to the cost. Some of the hotels were far from restaurants and you needed to walk or take taxis to access. We did enjoy our time in that part of Canada and left with great memories.Show more

Hotels and breakfasts seemed to worsen as the trip progressed. Halifax hotel was A1++++.Bus driver was great, tour guide was great, but talked alot. Only 2 optional excisions was not very good, a list dinner or a musical, would have liked to have seen one in every province, liked to have only stayed two nights in Halifax, and instead one night in beautiful New Brunswick instead of just driving through it. Was a good 7 day out east tour overall. Some free time which is good. Could have done without timely drops at a maple farm and a jam company but oh well.Show more
