Is there a best time of year to visit Cappadocia in terms of weather and tourism?

However, weather can never be guaranteed, and there may still be some rainy days in April as well. Is that $150 for the 3 nights "per person"? That would be $300 additional cost for a couple if the Gold Package is selected, right? Does it matter at what airport we arrive? (NAV is a lot closer to the hotels)

We highly recommend our guests to stay in Sultanahmet district where all the sites are located. Stay in sultanahmet district also make the operation easy for both side. Here is the list of the sites and cost of tickets will be visited during this tour: Topkapi Palace: 45 Euro per person, Hagia Sophia: 25 Euro per person, Goreme Museum: 25 Euro per person, Devrent Valley: 15 Euro per person, Kaymakli Underground City: 15 Euro per person. Hot Air Balloon flight can be added to the itinerary at the additional cost of 270 Euro per person included pick up and drop off. Flights take place early in the morning and do not affect your standard schedule.

Are there any specific requirements for hot air balloon rides?

There are no specific age limits for the hot air balloon rides, but it's advised that seniors consult their doctor prior to booking.

Can I fly into one airport and out of another?

Negatives were the balloon ride was being charged at £183 which was incredibly overpriced. We found a travel company in Urgup who offered the same activity for a fraction of the price of £61! Quad biking - we had to pay extra money for glasses and scarf when we arrived and had no awareness of. It was 400 Turkish lira and we also did not have a quad bike each, we had to share one.Show more

He was lovely thankfully but I had specifically enquired beforehand whether I would be with a group on the activities. As a sole traveller this was very important to me. The answer was yes so it was then a shame to find out I was on my own - the accommodation was Ok but it wasn't a cave hotel which is what I wanted and had originally had confirmed. Again, a shame seeing as I was in Capadoccia partly for this reason! - the two tour days were nice. Tge veggie option for the first day was 🍕. Not great un Turkey! - the tour finished an hour early on the second day. - tno confirmation for the return transfer was sent the day before, which happened with, everything else. I had an amazing time during the first two tours on my trip to Cappadocia! The underground city and fairy chimneys tours were thoroughly enjoyable, and our guide, Sukura, was both informative and personable. I absolutely loved her! The Fresco Cave Hotel where I stayed was stunning and conveniently located. Not to mention, the breakfast spread was simply spectacular! However, I must admit that the quad safari tour was quite disappointing. The guides were unfriendly and provided no information about the location we were exploring. After a short drive, we stopped at a rest area without any explanation, and the guide took a break to smoke, leaving us sitting with no direction. The return trip was also uneventful. Moreover, the aggressive request for tips, despite the lackluster experience, left a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn't recommend this tour and would suggest skipping it altogether.Show more
