Different guides at different tour locations made it interesting. We wanted to change our date for the hot air balloon ride to ensure no cancellation and it was done immediately.
Turkey was a very memorable experience and mainly thanks to not only the tours but the excellent choice of the hotels and their location .

Strolling through the ancient ruins of Ephesus, I was captivated by the grandeur of its preserved columns and amphitheaters, while Pamukkale’s dreamy white travertine terraces made for an unforgettable stop.
Above all, my tour guide, Barbaros , was this experience's heart. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and kindness made every site feel more meaningful. Whether sharing fascinating historical insights or leading hidden-gem discoveries, they transformed this journey into one of the best I’ve ever had.

My husband and I joined the tour Turkish Breeze from 6-15 October 2024. We appreciate the coordination of the trip getting us from place to place, and are well satisfied by the accommodation choices. Breakfast at each of the hotels were splendid, except for Efe boutique where basics were offered.
We are however puzzled how the tour itinerary could change without consulting us. For example, the itinerary listed Mevlana museum and Kursunlu waterfall but we did not get to visit it, and there was no explanation why. Instead of a full day of activity, we were taken to Duden waterfall (just a short drive from our hotel), lunch and that was all. I asked our guide Ali "What about Kursunlu?", to which he just shrugged it off, saying something like "It's just another waterfall". We are disappointed we did not get to see it. Looking at the maps now and on hindsight, Kursunlu isn't that far away from our hotel and I don't see why they couldn't bring us there especially since we had so much time that day (we were given so much time to stroll by Duden waterfall and we were brought to sit on an unstimulating 1h leisure boat ride along the coast of Antalya, when I'd much rather go for Kursunlu waterfall). On another note, we felt like our guide couldn't wait to be done with the tour.
Our time at Ephasus (2h) and Hierapolis (pummakale, just over 2h) was too hurried.
We enjoyed having Barish as our guide for our first day around the city of Istanbul. He's very knowledgeable and gave a lot of information of the various attractions/sites we visited. I'm glad I decided to opt out of the Topkapi palace tour, as I suspected it would be too rushed to spend just 1.5h or so in that big place to really appreciate everyhing.
2nd tour guide Ana was sweet but we were abandoned for a period of 20mins or so during the bosphorus cruise as she fell asleep while taking a smoke break.

Itinerary is just right for a first tour of Turkey. Ample balance between guide time and personal time to explore. The only change I would suggest is to skip the leather coat market and shorten the rug market visit.

My friend and I had a wonderful 9 day adventure through Tour Altinkum. Pros: 1) I liked their communication and quick response through the What’s up app. They were super organized. They would send us the instructions a day early so we would know the times and places to meet and any special instructions, if needed. 2) The hotels and locations were great! 3). Some places food was excellent and others were good. 4) Our tour groups were all under 15 people and our local guides were very knowledgeable.
Cons - 1)We were a party of 2, but when we got picked up, the driver or person in charge of our ride at the airport would only have one of our names. There was no party of 2 after the name and it was an issue 3 times. 2) Antalya City Tour - The Tunektepe has been out of order for a year and it sounds like it is not opening anytime soon. So they really need to change the itinerary to match what we did that day. They had us go on a boat ride instead. Also, there was supposed to be free time to walk around and shop before going back and there was none. 3) The Istanbul guide would walk way in front of the whole group. We had to ask him to stop a few times to wait for everyone to catch up. He rarely looked behind him to see if the group was close or far away. At one time, we lost my friend. He also didn’t have a lot of patience.
All in all, we had a fantastic time. We would recommend them and use them again. The issues were minor and all are easy fixes. Thanks Tour Radar for setting us up with Tour Altinkum!

Great trip because of our tour guide Efe. Small issues prevented me from giving it five stars:

—tour advertised a cable car ride to a mountain summit outside Antalya. That cable car has not operated in a year.
—some of the lunch buffets were less than optimal. The sit down lunches were much better.

He was lovely thankfully but I had specifically enquired beforehand whether I would be with a group on the activities. As a sole traveller this was very important to me. The answer was yes so it was then a shame to find out I was on my own
- the accommodation was Ok but it wasn't a cave hotel which is what I wanted and had originally had confirmed. Again, a shame seeing as I was in Capadoccia partly for this reason!
- the two tour days were nice. Tge veggie option for the first day was 🍕. Not great un Turkey!

- tno confirmation for the return transfer was sent the day before, which happened with, everything else. Then it was half an hour late
- only way to contact was on messages. Phone calls weren't possible which I found frustrating

Mert was incredibly patient, guiding us across multiple locations, and bringing the history and background of each place to life with engaging storytelling. He took the time to understand each person’s preferences, offering personalized suggestions for shopping and dining, and ensured we had vegetarian food at every stop, which was a thoughtful touch.
Mert’s meticulous planning was evident, as he kept to the schedule while also being flexible, allowing everyone to enjoy without feeling rushed. His genuine care for the group extended to taking stunning photos at various spots, making sure we all left with beautiful memories. His dedication and love for what he does deserve more than 5 stars!
A special thanks as well to our driver, Emrah, who made sure we travelled safely and securely throughout the journey. His kindness, helpfulness with our luggage, and calm demeanor added to the overall experience.

Tour Altinkum Travel. It was a horrible tour. All hotels were one or two star even they promised a 4 and 5 stars. The food was terrible in a very cheap restaurant. In our tour it was always a shopping tour or outlet company. We had to spent hours in these outlet as they were in the middle of nowhere and nothing else to do. They trying very hard to sell you very expensive leader or jewelry. We paid a few thousand dollars and we did not get anything worth. This company do not deliver what they promises. Our tour manager name was SADAF which was very ruth and unpleasant. Never had such a bad experience with any other tours we been for. Do not waste your money on this company. Never again.
