  The hotel we stayed in for 4 nights was advertised as a “4-star” property, but this is completely misleading. At best, it barely qualifies as a 3-star facility. There were no double beds, and small black bugs were found in the beds. Breakfast was far below any acceptable standard – forget 4 stars, it didn’t even reach basic guesthouse quality. HACCP rules were clearly ignored, and hygiene was poor. The so-called “espresso service” was nothing more than coffee from a vending machine. While the staff were well-intentioned, good intentions cannot make up for poor management and subpar facilities. The hotel we stayed in for 2 nights met our expectations in terms of comfort and service, and the 1-night stay at another hotel was also generally acceptable. However, the real issue was not the accommodations – it was the tour service itself. The tour promised “English service,” which in reality turned out to be nothing more than an English-written brochure. There was no guide, no tour operator, no one to provide actual assistance or communication. There was zero direct engagement with participants. This was not a “guided tour” – it felt like being left alone on a self-planned trip. In conclusion: This tour did not deliver what was promised in the brochures. The so-called 4-star hotel was completely misrepresented, and the lack of real tour guidance made the entire experience disappointing. Without transparent communication and actual guidance, I would not recommend this tour to anyone.Show more

As I've already explained you in the chat of your booking, hotel Ramapendula is officially classified as a 4* hotel according to Italians regulations. In Italy, a 4-star hotel must meet certain standards of service, quality, and comfort. These include, among other things, minimum room and bathroom sizes, reception, cleaning, and catering services, as well as the presence of qualified staff and additional services such as parking and luggage storage. This hotel has a score of 8.3/10 in booking.com and 3.8/5 in tripadvisor, so it is considered a very good hotel. We are sorry it didn't meet your expectations in terms of facilities. HACCP controls in Italy are very strict and every company must guarantee the required standards for hygiene and food safety. I regret to inform you that the tour you purchased is a self-drive, which means no activities, guided tours, or other services are provided. The self-drive includes only hotel accommodations and a car rental. It's important to carefully read the tour's inclusions before purchasing, which are clearly indicated on the tour's page. If you had wanted guided tours and activities, we could have suggested our private tours or customized the one you had chosen by adding these services at an additional cost. The communication in the booking page conversation is always clear, but you didn't ask any questions before booking. We would have been very happy to clarify your doubts regarding the activities not included (I've explained to you after you have confirmed the tour). We're sorry the tour didn't meet your expectations, but you need to be aware of what you're purchasing because you got exactly what you booked: a self-drive, not a guided tour.
